다르 아드랄

Lovely riad in Imlil. A very comfortable stay after a long day hiking. The food we were given was delicious - dinner and breakfast the following morning. Our host lit the stove in the dining room and it kept us warm and cosy during the chilly January evenings. A lovely authentic riad which I cannot recommens enough! 5 étoiles. Shoukrane!

We stayed here as part of a tour and I would stay here if I was organising an independent trip myself, this Riad was fabulous, really authentic and in a great location. Staff went above and beyond for us. The rooms are cute and clean with little balconies. private bathrooms, towels provided, comfy beds and a little heater. The main terrace has a stunning view of the mountains. lovely communal area for dinner with a warm fireplace.

In 2017 I stayed at Dar Adrar for the first time, and my recent visit was the fifth time I have returned booked via Aztac Treks. Dar Adrar does exactly what it says on the can. It is an excellent mountain guest house where your host Hamid will demonstrate the best of true Moroccan hospitality. Dar Adrar does not pretend to be a five star hotel or a pretentious spa. But it is the perfect base for trekking in the Atlas Mountains or for simply sitting on the terrace taking in the stunning views. The freshly-prepared food using local produce is excellent and totally reliable, and an example of the attention to detail is the state-of-the-art ultra violet water purifying system. It is a pity so many visitors use Dar Adrar as a half-way-house on their dash up Mount Toubkal and back to Marrakesh. Much better to stay at Dar Adrar for a few days enjoying the excellent local walking and savouring what is truly a role model for the Moroccan tourist industry.

We stayed for a night after our 2 day trek organised with Aztats tours (2 adults and 2 teens) and were given a very warm welcome. Dar Adrar has the most amazing terrace surrounded by massive snow capped mountains. Our rooms also had balconies. Dinner was excellent (and the staff even lit a fire to make the dining room more snug). We would happily have stayed longer.

We zijn hier twee nachten verbleven en dit is ons zeer goed bevallen. We werden hartelijk welkom geheten met thee door de altijd vrolijke Hamid. Hij heeft voor ons een gids geregeld, waarmee we een mooie hike door het Atlasgebergte hebben gelopen. De Dar zorgde hierbij voor een goed lunchpakket (kleine meerprijs). 's Avonds kun je aanschuiven voor een heerlijke diner (kleine meerprijs), dit is zeer aan te bevelen! We hebben twee avonden heerlijk gegeten op het dakterras met een fantastisch uitzicht. Ook het ontbijt is prima. Kortom echt een aanrader om te verblijven wanneer je in Imlil bent of voor of na je trip naar de Toubkal. Wanneer je met een auto komt kun je parkeren in het dorpje en het laatste stukje naar boven lopen of parkeren in de bergen aan de weg en het laatste stukje naar beneden lopen. In Imlil kom je vanzelf de bordjes tegen naar Dar Adrar.
