팔로마 오세아나 - 올 인클루시브

We’ve just returned from Paloma after a 2 week stay, starting on Christmas Day, the stay itself was very god and I would definitely return. Food was very good and plenty of choice, breakfast consisted of eggs (cooked in every way - scrambled, fried, omelette, boiled and poached), salad, cold selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, pastries and plenty of fresh bread along with many, many more things. Lunches were amazing lots of different dishes daily, meat, veg, salads, pizza, fresh grilled items and again, fresh bread and 2 soups. Dinner was the same style as lunch but always had different dishes on so you didn’t get that Deja vu feeling. There was even late night snacks from 11pm-1am if you fancied something after a drink which mainly consisted of 2 soups, bread, desserts and 4 hot dishes, one was always rice. We booked in at Avare indoor which was incredible! Could not fault the food or the staff there, it was truly amazing. The beach bar was amazing too, the food was very good especially the pizza as it was all fresh. The only downside was that the food was never really hot, in the main restaurant, it was always lukewarm and sometimes cold, it was very disappointment for a 5* hotel. The rooms were spacious and kept extremely clean throughout our stay, the cleaner was amazing and always smiled and said good morning when we saw her. She even made my night clothes in to little shapes every morning which always made me chuckle. The pillows left a lot to be desired even after having additional ones sent to the room. They definitely needed replacing as a whole. There was lovely shampoo, body wash and conditioner supplied by the hotel which was refilled when we needed it and also, there were cotton bud, cotton pads and hand soap supplied. The real highlight of the whole hotel were the staff. They were constantly going the extra mile to make the stay memorable, once we had been there for a few days they even knew our drinks order and the table service felt like a real luxury. We were constantly greeted with a warm smile. Especially those who were in the Piano bar, the bar staff were 10/10 and the waiters/waitresses were amazing. The hotels clientele made the stay uncomfortable sometimes, being about the only British people there we did feel out of place and made to feel it by the people holidaying there! I found them to be very rude throughout. There are definitely things that could be done to improve the hotel and truly make it a 5*, as it stands I would say it’s a good 4* with great potential, however like I said I would definitely return!

We went to the vacation to Paloma Oceana for 2 weeks in December, 2024. Pretty nice hotel, contains a lot of stuff to do even in winter: really good indoor pool, tennis courts, table tennis, billiard, cards, chess, mini-golf, gym. The food is nice as well. We would like to show our gratefulness to the guest relationship manager Begimai is extremely nice and was always friendly and helped in all cases. She made our vacation better and always helped, when we have questions or issues.

To start with the pro’s for the Oceana. On arrival, Porters and Reception staff were extremely polite and welcoming . Nice spacious room with small balcony, en-suite with large walk-in shower. Both room and en-suite being exceptionally clean and maintained. Free mini bar stocked with bottle water,beers,juices ,coke, sprite etc, which was replenished during the week. Again all the cleaning staff were always pleasant greeting you with a nice smile and willing I am sure to do any little extras you may need doing. Restaurant and food were of a good quality,choice considering it’s an All Incusive buffet restaurant. There is also a very good choice what you might call speciality restaurants available, Asian,International and Turkish. Unlike other All Incusives I have been to, here you can eat at all three additional restaurants on your stay (in other All Inclusives, I have only ever had one) which we found was a bonus. The Piano bar in the evenings was also nice but a little restricted on the cocktail menu.waiter service was good, but must point out it was late in the season. Patisserie was good for mid-morning coffee &cake, afternoon snack of sandwich and Tea plus any Alcoholic drinks from the Piano bar,all waiter or self service. All pools, gardens and public areas including toilets were all well maintained and exceptionally clean.. Note to wheel chairs and guest with other mobility issues . Overall we found it quite good. Long easy ramps are provide in most areas, From Reception level which includes Piano bar, hotel shops and Patisserie has a long gentle slopped walkway leading down to the pool area, main restaurant block and then further down to the beach bar and beach restraunt. Now for the Cons. To be honest , we found very little to complain about. The worst problem we found that outdoor steps were on the steep side and the height of each step also a little to high,especially for older and walking stick guests. No lifts in the outside blocks,so people with slight walking problems take care.The steps are just a little on the steep side,also there is no lights at step level hence the lighting is on the poor side at night . Taxi down to Side which is a very nice trip out was Europe 14 or about 500 Turkish Lire. Overall we enjoyed the holiday.

Well where do i start… we have just had our wedding at this hotel, the hotel itself is stunning and beautiful, our room was a double room for 2 adults, 2 children and was massive with privacy for both me and my husband and 2 teens. The hotel is huge, the gardens around the hotel our beautiful with the best views, the beach is lovely and well looked after, all soft sand and the beach bar is fantastic with some great food options at lunch, we ate there most days, the restaurant, there is plenty of choice everyday, always something for everyone and we was party of 20. Our wedding for me was the highlight of our holiday, I knew exactly what I wanted and soon as we got here, I met with the guest relations manger Begimai, and she has been absolutely fantastic, she made sure everything I wanted was done to perfection, went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect, as well as being so lovely and kind, nothing as been so much trouble for her to sort out as well as booking meals and other things, the other lady Dilan from guest relations is again been fantastic, she has also done everything she could to make our holiday special and she did a fantastic job with our wedding ceremony, so kind and lovely, these two are a credit to the hotel, also the assistant manager who we also met with to go over a few things with our wedding, he made sure we was happy and any worries we had, he sorted for us, I’ve never been to a hotel where all the staff are so friendly and helpful, all the waiters are brilliant and can’t do enough for you, one in particular has been amazing, his name is ilhan, you will find him usually in the steak al a carte, but he also was the main waiter at our wedding and he made sure we was all ok, got our drinks brought to us before we had even finished the one we had, absolutely fantastic, we visited 2 al a cartes, the steak one, the food was fantastic, one of the best steaks we have ever had, also the wasabi, the food there again 10/10, the water park out of the hotel is fantastic, a must visit if you come to this hotel. Also the TUI rep Joanne in the hotel, she has been absolutely fantastic, always there when you need her for anything, sorts any problems you have out straight away, and is again so lovely, our holiday and wedding wouldn’t have been the same if it wasn’t for Begimai, Dilan, Joanne and ilhan, we will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future, and anyone looking to book a wedding here, you won’t be disappointed at all.

Review of our stay (03-09-2024 to 10-09-2024) Guests: Two adults (~50 years old), with one having exceptional hearing. Location: Main building, street side (not overlooking the courtyard or swimming pools) Our spoken languages: Dutch (main language), English, German and a little French --- Our comments: Reception and arrival: - The reception process felt rushed. We had to ask for our bracelets ourselves. Despite informing the staff about our delayed evening flight, we were told that food was available "somewhere," which was not a helpful or a welcoming response. We had to search for food on our own and eventually found a place after a 15-minute walk. Hotel facilities: - Air conditioning: While there is air-conditioning in the rooms, it lacks a remote control, it is slow, somewhat outdated and a little noisy. - Cleanliness: The hallways have dusty lamps, windows are cleaned with cloths leaving stains and the elevators are greasy and require better maintenance. - Carpeting: The hallways are carpeted, which reduces the noise from rolling suitcases and footsteps. - General remark: Rooms near the elevators are not recommended due to constant noise from the elevator doors. Restaurant: - Food variety: The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and complaints about this are really (from our perspective) unwarranted. However, a few areas for improvement include: - Knives are ineffective for cutting. - Indicate whether olives have pits (can lead to broken teeth). - The staff is friendly and hardworking, particularly the young woman with a tattoo under her ear and a another the slender woman. However, the service is overly rushed, resulting in plates being cleared to fast or incorrect orders are being served. - The hotel promotes ecological responsibility. It would be helpful to clarify these practices upon arrival to avoid excessive food waste and educate guests on portion sizes. - Room cleaning: The sign for room cleaning is 200% unclear. Simplify it to: “Clean My Room” or “Do Not Disturb” for better understanding. Don't try to make it so fancy. Facilities and amenities: - Swimming Pools: The pools are clean and very well-maintained, though the water can be a bit warm, but definitely better than too cold. - Gardens: The gardens are beautifully green and well-maintained, but we didn't see any insects (why?). - Beds: The beds are quite hard and sometimes you can feel the springs. - Room insulation: Rooms are spacious, but poorly insulated against noise. We could hear neighbors coughing and other *disturbances*. Language/communication: - Most staff speak Turkish and German; English proficiency is very, very limited. Shower Room: * No Double sink: We noticed that the lack of a double sink (we could have been seen in the photos), but it was still inconvenient. * Toilet privacy: The toilet is not separated from the rest of the room, leading to a lack of privacy. Excellent hotel, very clean. Staff all helpful especially if tipped you get priority. Rooms very spacious & immaculate ( stayed in main building ). Food is of a high standard and always something to eat, and am a fussy man. The only thing that lets the place down is the drinks, they are labelled premium drinks but they are not. The draught beer is Efes and flat as milk. For a 5* hotel you should have the option to get a bottled beer, they used to have 1 bottled beer but stopped it due to cost. Now the cost of staying here keeps going up, I think they need to up their game and give the option of bottle lager like other good 5* turkey hotels. Tempted to revisit but I don’t think I can drink the draught efes for 2 weeks. There is also the waiters asking you to change their tip money to notes constantly, which also. Keeps you in plenty change to keep tipping ( clever fiddle & the bar managers are aware ). If your not a drinker yiu will love this place. #bottledefes #bottledBomonti #draughtispoor
