If your looking for more action a five minute drive through town puts you in the San Bernardino National Forest with easy access to over 40 miles of Mountain Bike Trails. All levels of trails are available for cruising, climbing or downhill. Off roading jeep trails, camping and fishing are also all within close proximity. Idyllwild is also known as one of the places where the sport of rock climbing gained its popularity. Summer climbing classes are available through local outfitters.
