A great stay in the farm house. We stayed there for two nights. It was only 5km away from husavik where we joined the whale watching tour. We had our breakfast at 8am and managed to arrive the whale watching centre at 9:05am. The view from the farm house was really nice (the sea and the snow mountains). Staff was nice. We could use the kitchen for lunch and dinner. They’ve got utensils and pots and bowls. And microwave and oven. Basically everything you need. The dog was cute. We also joined an icelandic horse riding session there. It was amazing. The girl was friendly,experienced and helpful. Breakfast was simple and the croissant was delicious. Room was much better then we expected. More and less like a hotel room. We enjoyed staying there very much.

房間很開陽，衛生很好，環境雖小但五臟俱全！ 唯一缺點是隔音問題有待改善。 但作為民宿，環境很好，雖然離市中心有段距離，泊車和看極光都很方便！

We had room nr.4 with the best view to bay and mountains. Very calm place. Room and everything alltogether was superb. Good breakfest. Common kitchen with good equipment available all the time. Horse riding tours with discounts available.

We had an amazing stay at Saltvik farm! The property has stunning views and the rooms are in a converted cow barn. The room was quiet and cozy and had everything we needed. The staff at check-in were nice and the location is wonderful... right outside of town. This place will always be special to us as we got to see an incredible northern lights show for the first time. The lights were right outside the front door and we were the only ones around to fully enjoy the experience. Truly magical!! We have already talked about returning one day.

My wife and I stayed at Saltvik Guesthouse for two nights. Used it as a home base to go whale watching and then explore parts of northern Iceland. Perfect for us- simple but very clean and comfortable accommodations. Staff was super helpful. Delicious breakfast. Great location only five minutes or less outside of Husavik. Also Myvatn area is only 35-45 minutes away. Would definitely stay again!!

Picturesque setting a stone's throw from a scenic lava beach walk and only a few kilometers from Husavik where several good restaurants, cafes and whale watching await. Clair and Merrit went out of their way to ensure that our needs were met including doing some laundry...above and beyond any call of duty. My Icelandic horse ride along the coast was a delight. Breakfast w.as healthy and very tasty and coffee/tea was available 24/7. A perfect 5 night stay.
