Excellent hotel - the room was beautiful and the staff super friendly. It‘s pretty romantic there and nature outside really worth a trip! 💚 Service was incredible - even though I checked in after they were officially closed, they managed to have a vegetarian dinner readily waiting for me. Which tasted amazing and they also got a superb choice of food and Drinks. Absolutely going there again!!!!!! 🤩

The owner was very rude and arrogant on the phone making me feel very stupid and unwelcome (I have 2 academic degrees and speak 5 languages. Can't be that dumb really..) This very low service and unprofessional manner put me off from booking this hotel. We are not stingy and would have spent money on food and wine. We have now booked elsewhere for triple (!) the price. Our plan was to have a spa break and relax but I really cannot see this happening with this vibe and energy this hotel is run with. Bad service really really is a killer. Such a shame.

I was about to book but spoke to the owner Manuela Baier who really put me off. Very arrogant and rude and absolutely not helpful. Such a shame. It also seems I wasn't the only one with this experience. Basic manners would have been appreciated.

We were there in the beginning of spring for a few days. Surroundings is nice, the forest and the small creek. Cheapskate attitude, asking extra money for basics, making mistakes with the food orders, unpleasant communication.

This is a lovely modern hotel with big rooms in a very beautiful and quiet location. The service was truly phenomenal. I don't think I've ever stayed in a large hotel where staff remembered my name, and even brought me a beer without asking as the waiter thought I would want one - and he was right ! In my work I've been fortunate enough to stay in some of the top hotels in the world and the service at this hotel surpassed all of them. The car park probably holds about 15 cars, but there is a large free public car park right next to it, and the area is very safe and quiet. The restaurant for dinner is a little pricey but the food excellent, and as I say the service is wonderful. The rooms were also really nice and decent size, and the hot bath one of the nicest I've had the pleasure to lie in, which was very welcome after a days hiking !! There is a lovely modern spa in the basement but be aware that this being Germany the sauna is fully nude :)
