앤션트 후에 가든 하우스(Ancient Hue Garden Houses)

제 아내와 저는 더 큰 규모의 베트남 여행의 일환으로 후에를 여행하고 있었습니다. 우리는 미국인이고 임페리얼 시티를 탐험하면서 진정한 베트남 호텔을 찾고 싶었습니다. 고대 Hue Garden House는 실망하지 않았습니다. 우리 방은 200년 이상 된 높은 천장에 나무에 세밀한 조각이 있었지만 여전히 Wi-Fi, 완전한 서양식 욕실 및 얼음처럼 차가운 에어컨과 같은 현대적인 편의 시설을 갖추고 있습니다. 수영장은 관광 하루를 보낸 후 놀랍도록 상쾌했습니다. 레스토랑의 직원은 매우 친절했고 주변의 서비스는 최고 수준이었습니다. 만약 당신이 여기에 머물 기회가 있다면 나는 당신이 그것을 할 것을 강력히 제안할 것입니다.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, even I am just a tourist guide coming here waiting for my customers :) thank you! Especially two ladies serving the breakfast, it's a nice and tranquil place to stay when you come to Hue THANK YOU

We came for the Royal Imperial dinner. The ambiance, service and amenities were first class. It is located a bit outside of town but a quick grab was no problem. The food was a bit average however, the presentation was amazing. We kind of expected this but you are paying for this show. We enjoyed the experience and evening out.

We were treated to a 2 hour Royal Dinner our first night complete with Royal Costumes and a traditional music ensemble. Our rooms were beautiful with all amenities. The staff were super attentive and anxious to make us comfortable. We had a one hour massage in the spa and it was perfect.

We had 3 nights here and overall it was pretty good. The room was exactly as we expected from the pictures published online, but very dark. Although spacious I felt really quite hemmed in, not helped by constant grey skies! The room and bathroom was well equipped but no USB ports / multiplugs and the Wi-Fi was a bit inconsistent. Good laundry service. The spa was rather nice, a good salt scrub and massage. Breakfast was very good with attentive service, the small outside bar area and pool area was relaxing. Lunch / evening menu was good and the food beautifully presented (only had a small lunch and a dinner on one occasion). The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. A couple of draw backs unfortunately … the restaurant is used by large groups of tourists that are bussed in - we had booked a table booked in the restaurant but we were besieged so ended up moving to the bar (our choice). Additionally the hotel (the ancient garden rooms not the French villas which are adjacent) is situated on a very small plot which contributed to it being a little dark. Be aware that this hotel is someway out of Hue so take a hotel address card with you as taxi drivers sometimes struggle. There is also construction work on the canal / stream outside so it’s not very pretty at the moment. All in all I would recommend a stay here as long as you are happy with its position and the ongoing work outside at the front (it will be lovely once finished!)

Beautiful property, fantastic rooms- all exquisite suites, great food- we dined at both restaurants, spa staff gave incredible massages and the staff- from groundskeeper to checkin to wait staff- all gave impeccable service. I’m not sure these is anything more that could have been done to make our stay nicer… unless they could control the rain too!

Many people visit Hue for one or two days, but I highly recommend at least a three night stay at Ancient Hue Garden Houses. We stayed in Kim Phung house for three nights and we did not want to leave. The service is absolutely impeccably. Every single person from concierge, gardener, managers and restaurant staff was super lovely, friendly and attentive. You can really feel that everyone genuinely cares to make your stay enjoyable. The houses are beautifully designed with traditional and artisanal detailing throughout. Kim Phung guesthouse we stayed in was pure luxury with more space that you would need and interior fit for royalty. It is tucked away towards the back of the property offering privacy. We ate at the restaurant most of the time, and all meals were exquisite, artfully presented with (too) generous portions. Ladies who served us in the restaurant were attentive, personable, caring and funny and within a few days we formed a lovely relationship. I highly recommend borrowing bicycles and cycling into the old town and citadel, as well as cycling at sunset along the river to Thien-Hue Mu Pagoda. This was an absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam and we cannot wait to return. There were times where I was literally moved to tears by the magical experience of staying at Ancient Hue Guest Houses...the place, the people and the food will stay with me forever.

We stayed four nights here and it was just perfect. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a lovely terrace to relax on with comfy chairs. The pool is beautiful and we tended to get up and go out early and come back early afternoon and swim and relax in the hottest part of the day. It is walking distance to the citadel despite the Vietnamese staff thinking walking is crazy and we walked all over the place. The restaurant is quite expensive for Vietnam and not really to our taste so we only ate there once. There are actually quite a lot of Vietnamese options close by if you feel intrepid. There’s a great little place up a laneway Quan Banh O Le about 10 minutes walk away serving traditional Hue cakes - delicious. The staff at Ancient Hue were lovely with a particular mention to Son who couldn’t have been more helpful. We both had a complimentary massage which was the icing on the cake. A great place!
