I felt like I was stepping back in time (1830 to be exact), climbing the two stories up the old stairway to a spacious room filled with character. The ultra comfortable 4 poster king bed had lovely luxurious linens. We had fun playing the BeeGees on the stylish turntable. The bar and fridge had everything we needed. The footed tub was combined old and new with a classy embroidered shower curtain and beautiful marble wall tiling. The hotel tavern just below our room was perfect. Exquisite delicate homemade lasagna and a unique crab cake club on thinly sliced homemade bread with bacon and aioli were just right and easy after a late arrival. The hotel is walking distance from the Amtrak station. We did an easy 7 min walk to town in the morning for breakfast. So many fun places to choose from. Overall a grand stay with staff who could not have been more personable and helpful. The hotel was clean and well kept.

Highly overpriced. Horrible location, loud train and street noise. One teeny, tiny ceiling light in bathroom, husband didn't even have adequate light to shave. Tub and shower are ancient. Three floors up that included narrow and dangerous stairs. No breakfast provided. Traveled 10 countries in 2024, this was the biggest disappointment for a room at nearly $400 per night. Added photos to show bathroom situation; the one tiny ceiling light in the bathroom, must think the teeny tiny window above the mirror will provide adequate lighting. We didn't even attempt to use the shower/bathtub.

2 words: Comfort & Relaxation. The staff was incredible. Checkin process a snap. I arrived, checked in, dropped bags off and went right to your restaurant. I was able to order my all time favorite comfort food, fried chicken and mashed potatoes. This was not how my mother served it. Who knew fried chicken and mashed potatoes could be elevated? WM Farmer and Sons. After licking my fingers, the staff delivered the most delicious sticky pudding to my room. Nothing like curling up in luxurious sheets after an amazing bath(salts included) and digging into some scrumptous sticky pudding. I felt like a queen!

My girlfriends and I visited Hudson just for a quick getaway from the chaos of our lives for the weekend- and Wm Farmer & Sons treated us great! We stayed in ‘The Pint’ room and we especially enjoyed having a kitchen and on-site parking. The room was very clean and the staff was super helpful. Would recommend for a trip with family or friends as they have all accommodations you could need.

My fiance and I went for our anniversary weekend. Bubbly waiting in the room for us, clear communication the entire stay. Wonderful restaurant and location in town and to the train. Highly recommend for your next weekend getaway. Strongly recommend giving them a visit.

The staff were really accommodating and the room was absolutely great. It was a wonderful location, both from proximity to the train station and the main commercial district. The bar and restaurant were really good too. I would definitely stay here again.
