Each time we stay at Rockwood, it is harder and harder to leave! Peace and quiet in a serenely beautiful setting and the welcoming staff make this the perfect place to unwind with family. The Big Green Egg's make any meal a sensational experience! We will definitely be back!

An incredible stay. We stayed in the forest lodge. Idyllic cabin and surrounds. Perfect getaway if you need some peace and quiet with great amenities and the most beautiful forest to explore. We will be visiting again! Thank you to Sue and the team :)

I'm not really one for writing reviews, but for Rockwood, you just have to make an exception. No other accommodation establishment in the world (and believe me, I've visited more than a thousand) can hold a candle to their sumptuous ROCKWOOD FARMHOUSE. Style with substance; perfectly balanced use of indoor and outdoor space; superb interplay of light; a natural setting beyond compare; quality linen and furnishings; and world-class servicing. I cannot think of a single thing I would change about our visit.

The farmhouse is absolutely stunning with so many different spaces to enjoy! We were 2 families and at no time did we feel on top of each other. There are also 2 separate outdoor spaces that you can enjoy, depending on the weather. And the fireplaces and abundant supply of firewood just topped it all off for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at the Forest lodge. Quality family time away from electronic distractions, surrounded by beautiful scenery and hiking trails. The cabin was truly something special and we will be making this an annual visit. We'll be keen to try the farm house and cottage along with friends next time. The location of the farm is truly special and you feel like you staying at the best kept secret in the midlands.

Awesome mountain cabin.We had a lovely stay in Karkloof nature reserve.Lodge maintenance and staff was amazing.Selfcaterring but many upmarket restaurants in area and whole off midlands to explore…Karkloof canopy zipline around the corner…

Spacious, stylish and well-equipped. This house was wonderful and comfortably accommodated the 8 of us. The setting of the house and views out of every window were beautiful. Loved the two patios and the games room upstairs, there were many different areas one could relax in. The cycling route on the farm was also fantastic. We hope to visit again in future, can highly recommend the Farmhouse at Rockwood Lodge.

The communication and comfort stand out as key points regarding this venue. Sue and her team make sure every detail is considered. The house is beautifully decorated with quality linen and the location is superb. Would recommed this spot
