We had an overnight stay with evening meal and breakfast. The beds were super comfortable. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub and restaurant. The food was delicious, service good. The breakfast was great! Plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was beautifully decorated and toasty warm,which is what you need this time of year. The mattress was so comfortable and the complimentary tea tray very well stocked. The bar and bar staff was very friendly. A wonderful local pub with great bar and log fire. The food was amazing, well presented and good value for money. Breakfast had a great selection and also was very tasty with local produce. Definitely staying again!!!

We have been noticing this pub restaurant for some time, and today was the day when we finally sampled it, and jolly good that we did! Everything was spot on - lovely, comfortable interior; pleasant, knowledgeable staff, great food and drinks, and they welcome your pooch into the bargain. What's not to love? We will be back.

Good food friendly service nice time had by all. The inn is easy to find being at the crossing of the Salisbury to Wimborne and Shaftesbury to Three Legged Cross roads.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Large car park and excellent Wifi. Good en-suite bathroom, with bath as well as shower. Breakfast was OK, although some fresh fruit would be good. We also had an evening meal, which was excellent. Just one quibble with our bedroom, it is converted roof space and has diagonal low beams, painted the same colour as the rest of the room. If you have good lighting and your wits about you, there is no problem. However if you need to go to the toilet in the night, while not fully alert and not wanting to turn the light on to avoid waking your partner, you are liable to bang your head. It would help if the beams were padded and/or painted a brighter colour than the rest of the ceiling.

We had a lovely meal at the Horton Inn as usual. Simple menu, well done. We had halloumi fries and prawns for starters and then mains of Haddock and chips, nachos with ve chilli and risotto. Good choice of food for meat eaters and vegetarians/vegans. Staff are lovely, thank you.
