One of my most disappointing experiences since a 4 star hotel in Constanta Romania. Where to begin. Small room with a stained carpet (can't determine whether it is dirt or just old carpet). The TV malfunctioned when I arrived, and when I wanted to call the reception, I found out that the phone did not work either. The phone was sticky to the touch and the display was cracked. Went to the reception that asked me to unplug the TV and plug it in again. This fixed the problem but revealed that there are only 3 channels available... two German and a Danish. they suggest that I could once again do the courtyard trip to borrow a HDMI cable so I could connect my computer, but I opted not to... my computer probably is a better screen than the old TV anyway Do not bring many bags, as you have to go from the car to the reception, over a large courtyard from a distant parking place. And when you have checked in you have to go all the way back to get to your room. No roomservice menu and had to go to the reception that told me that they indeed had room service, but warned me that they charged EUR 10 (DKK 75) to carry the tray to my room. I am impressed that they could say this without blushing from shame. Decided to show up physically to the restaurant after yet another courtyard trip to order the food in the restaurant and got a sorry excuse for a wienerschnitzel, and took it to my room myself after 30 minutes. The staff is smiling and are doing their best, which is not enough to qualify as an international business hotel, and the bathrooms are ok, except for the shower head. Best advise... wait until Comwell have refurbished the hotel.... They are taking it over on January 1st and the will for sure be a remarkable improvement.
