From June to November this is Belize's rainy season, as well as the seaweed, Sargassum, can come to shore in high quantities. The Caribbean including Belize also has mosquitos, No-see-ums and doctor flies, which a good bug spray will protect you from. Of course, nature is unpredictable and sometimes the conditions can be so optimal and then sometimes it can be rainy or a lot of seaweed. There are plenty of jungle excursions during those days such as Mayan temples, waterfalls and cave kayaking/tubing etc. Once you check in we will give you all of the tips to have the best stay possible navigating Mother Nature's unpredictability.
