Only one night. Silence of beauty. It’s better for family holiday. Breakfast is good and room is clean.Comfortable!

Staff very friendly, helpful and polite. The only thing that could have been better was the service at the a la carte breakfast. It was slow and our group of four received meals at different times. We complained, and the Manager dealt with it in a very professional way and was very apologetic. The breakfasts were excellent. We would not let this prevent us from booking another stay at this golf resort.

The staff were excellent the rooms and corridors looked very tired, but the food was fantastic quality we had a meal in the cast iron grill which was really nice but the stand out was the breakfast from choice to quality and the staff always very attentive. The pool was good but a little on the cool side and we had a spa treatment which was supposed to be 30 mins and in reality was about 20 they did fit us in last minute but something to be mind full of if you have a spa treatment. The grounds are amazing surrounded by the golf courses which looked amazing where the black dear roam free the whole place has got a nice relaxing feel to it. If the rooms and corridors where brought up to date this would be a 5***** hotel.

The hotel initially is in pressure and when I arrived I was greeted nicely. When I got to the room I was disappointed. Dated unclean and just generally poor for a hotel where it is above £100 a night. I’m not sure if I was given a bad room due to staying one night or not. I had a terrible nights sleep and woke up multiple times in the night. This was supposed to be a nice evening for myself and partner but I left feeling unimpressed.

Waited over an hour and 15 mins for dinner. After being seated, ordering and then questioning timings we were informed they were unexpectedly busy due to a 300 guest event taking place. Eventually due to travelling with our family we asked for the food to be brought to our room. On receipt it was cold to the touch. Front of house did arrange for a full refund of the costs of the food it must be said. Room itself was generally basic but little things like the chair was falling apart which left bits of leather and fabric on the floor. We regularly travel and stay around Tamworth but won’t be revisiting here unfortunately.

Stayed here for a wedding . Reception staff really helpful in sorting, storing of luggage and arranging transport to wedding venue . Lots of wedding guests stayed here and arranging space for us all to eat together and leading the cheering entrance of the new mr&mrs the following morning. Room clean and good facilities . A lovely stay.

Amazing place - very inviting with splendid drive and entrance. Large room with ‘proper’ wardrobe space. Ideal for several nights stay. Not too great menu choice but very attentive staff. Comfortable all round. Didn’t use all the facilities as was just a one night stay. Would definitely recommend.

Room was extremely clean, plenty of towels, products, drinks (still and sparkling water) and biscuits provided for our stay. You can request more at the reception if needed. The room smelt beautiful - like lemons. Bed and pillows were so comfortable, feather pillows, white linen. Food in the evening was phenomenal, we ordered 3 meals and all were of a very high quality. Breakfast was amazing, a fantastic selection on the buffet and we also ordered a cooked breakfast - food on the cooked breakfast was of a high standard, very good quality. All staff we encountered on our visit were friendly and willing to chat. The pool was a little cool but the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were great. The hotel is of a high standard, communal areas are clean and up to date. Communal areas were quiet in the evening and morning. Will be visiting again and would highly recommend to anybody else.

Fantastic hotel excellent service great facilities and good value, just hope when the new owners chain take over they keep the standard
