We had booked our trip for October 2024 for December 2024. Everything was paid for and confirmed. We arrived in Miami and contacted the host to pick up the key. As to discover she had double booked and we could not stay there. How does somebody book something on October 2024 and arrive in December at the airport of Miami with family to discover that they don’t have a place to go to? Why would we not have been notified and a refund given to us earlier? This was absolutely disappointing and no way to run a business at all. There there were six of us , a teenager two kids that have autism and my daughter and her husband and myself . Can you imagine what it would’ve been like at an airport for three plus hours. Try to find a place to stay The shock to find out that you actually don’t have a place to stay after paying and having confirmation. And your flight from BC Canada . It was a two bedroom apartment in October and so we had a good price, now last minute you the cost is outrageous.Last min I would not trust any booking you make with this host. To leave a family stranded, in an airport is just not how you do business. Very disappointed Kathy
