It’s taken me longer than I would’ve liked to write this review as I was and still am very traumatised by what happened and I would really like the owners of the hotel to contact me. I stayed here beginning of May with a couple of friends and on our second to last night the manager insisted on cooking us dinner as he said it was something he wanted to try out with guests of the hotel who stay longer than a couple of days. Him and a woman made us food and he made us cocktails. We invited him to sit after the meal as we thought he was really sweet and had been super helpful throughout our stay. After 30 minutes or so me and my friends went to our rooms. I then woke up to the hotel manager in my room, he was touching me. He said the door was open ( I’m very sure it wasn’t, I checked it before I went to sleep but the lock on the door of that particular room was faulty and didn’t have a double lock which is maybe why he placed me in that room? ) and he had brought me a cocktail, when I said no to the drink he said he was really good at massages and asked if I wanted one. I said no thank you, he left the room and I ran up to the room my friends were staying in. I was hysterical obviously and terrified. We then booked another hotel for our last night and I slept in the room with them. I wasn’t quite sure what else to do about this other than the review as I imagine he has access to the hotel email etc

I don’t recommend this hotel in raining season, to far to the beach.

The property was well kept and provided excellent service . The breakfast was great and the stafff especially Carla and Wil went out of their way to assist and recommend places to eat and activities to do. Very kind and thoughtful.

We weren’t too happy with our stay at Mis Suenos. It looks like a beautiful hotel. However, the rooms were not clean at all. There was sand laying all over the floor. I had 2 dead insects laying on my nightstand, the bedsheets had a weird smell, and when we turned on the A/C some weird dirt started flying out on our bed.. Furthermore the hotel is VERY noisy.. it wakes you up. Also the curtains are so sheer that even at night the room isn’t fully dark, and in the morning you will wake up by the light immediatly. The wifi connection is very bad too. I would not go back.

Lovely small boutique hotel. Basic but very clean rooms with safe and mini fridge. Hot water showers and a beautiful small pool that was perfect to cool off in the afternoons. Reina, the manager, is incredibly kind and works very hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. She not only checks in with you regularly, she cooks, cleans the rooms, and provides recommendations and insight to the island. We had to catch the 630am ferry for our departure, and she very kindly made us sandwiches for the morning of our flight. Also noteworthy was the poolside surprise of banana bread she said she made for the 1st time! Such a sweet touch and delicious as well! Basic breakfast and coffee were included in the stay with a handful of options, all very good. Bicycles are available to rent and Reina can arrange carts and tours if needed. Also, shout out to Pepe and the other gentleman that assisted Reina, we unfortunately didn't catch his name. They were both fantastic as well. The only cons that may be an issue for other people, it is pretty long walk to town center and beach, 20 minutes or so (we enjoyed how quiet the location was, and enjoy walking so didn't bother us at all) I can see how this would be difficult when it rains as flooding is very common. For early risers, coffee and breakfast are typically available after 8 am, sometimes later, depending on how full the hotel is. Overall, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Property and staff was excellent, staff made everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible considering bad weather conditions. It was raining since the day before, streets flood badly, specially around the hotel which made it hard to get transportation or to walk to center of town. Because of bad weather we didn’t do any water activities. Other than that hats off to staff.
