Very personal and friendly lodge. (Mostly Brazilian guests.) Good rangers an lovely food on all inclusive base. 2 great gamedrives per 1 night. We had the luck of sunny weather and the pool and a gift! Overall a very pleasant stay!

I had an incredible stay at this lodge! All the staff were absolutely delightful – friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding; everything was spotless and well-maintained. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, and served in a truly delightful manner. They also offered an impressive selection of delicious wines that perfectly complemented the meals. The game drives were a highlight of our trip – the guides were exceptional, knowledgeable, and made the experience unforgettable. After a day full of adventure, coming back to the lodge and relaxing in the super comfortable bed was the perfect way to end the day. I can’t recommend this lodge highly enough and look forward to returning!

Milima was fantastic. This is a private game reserve in greater Kruger. We saw the big 5 - Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffalos and were lucky to see them up close. The lions came right up to the vehicle! We also saw other animals such as zebras, giraffes, many types of deer, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, and many more. On safari, the guide will drive you around the reserve to find the animals as they are free to roam around, and it can take some looking to find them. We enjoyed watching the animals coming to drink at the waterhole in front of the lodge, whilst we swam in the pool. We did a day trip to Kruger National Park and preferred the Milima experience as the animals were closer and there were lots more vehicles at Kruger all competing for the prime spot to see the animals. Having said that, we did see hippos and crocs up close in Kruger. We stayed in the family villa. These had 2 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious living area. We often saw warthogs and types of deer in the front lawn. The safari guides were knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Big thanks to Thomas, Prem, Sidney and Sean for taking us around on the morning and afternoon game drives. The meals were all delicious - high restaurant quality. The chefs can make other meals for kids as is suitable, noting we travelled with 2 kids, 12yo and 10yo. The staff were excellent - all professional, friendly and very helpful. Overall, this was a terrific experience, all of us loved it! I highly recommend Milima.

As a family of 5 it can be tricky to find the right place but we did at Milima. The team are exceptional. They do everything you need and more. The food is wonderful and our children were very well catered for. But the highlight are the game drives, where we managed to tick off the big 5 thanks to Thomas.

We had an incredible stay at Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge. Our experience was beyond our expectations, and we were so reluctant to leave! We were lucky enough to spot all of the Big 5 during our stay. On our first night, we saw a leopard among other animals. The following morning, we were thrilled to see two lions. We also spotted another leopard in the evening and ended our trip with a pride of lions the next morning. We will definitely be recommending Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge

Oh wow what a fantastic, amazing and awesome stay we had a Milima Big 5 for our Silver Wedding Anniversary. From the minute we arrived till we left to go home everything was perfect. We paid extra to be picked up at the airport and dropped off. We were met by the amazing and talented guide Thomas. He was our guide during our stay and thanks to his knowledge, intuition and gut instinct we got to see the big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino) twice in our 5 night stay. Was a once in a lifetime experience. During the safari drives Thomas would give us information about the animals we seen, tracking them and there habitats and movements. No question was unanswerable. The guides work extremely hard and are amazing at there job. Special shout out to Thomas the best guide :) Location was fantastic. Once we arrived we were given a welcome drink and given a tour of the bar, restaurant, Boma and then onto our tent. The lodge in in a reserve and there are no other lodges near so you feel like you are in the middle of Africa. We stayed in a tent which gave you a real safari feel. It had everything you needed and was very comfortable. From our deck we could sit and watch elephants, giraffes and kudu come and drink at the water hole. It was so incredible to watch. Every evening and morning the housekeeping staff come in and turn your bed down for the evening Included in your price are morning and evening game drives, all inclusive food and drinks and your accommodation. Was a once in a lifetime experience for us and so emotional seeing all the animals in there own habitat. Totally out of this world. There is a heated pool but we never used it as we were too busy animal spotting. There is also tours out with the lodge that can be booked. We took a tour to the Drakensberg mountains which was fantastic and reasonable for a 1-1 tour. Looking for somewhere special to come and see a variety of animals then book Milima and you won't be disappointed.
