Lotus Field Homestay

We absolutely adored this homestay and would have happily stayed here for more then our 2 nights we booked. The location was gorgeous and we had probably one of the most beautiful sunrises of my life. The rooms were cute & quaint - we were even able to get in-room massages! The family was so kind, very attentive and made amazing food! They went out of our way to ensure our stay was incredible. Highly recommend. For my solo, female friends - I was there with my partner, but I would 100% feel safe here alone!

Incredible location, we were mesmerised with the surrounds, and how beautiful the property was designed. Immersed in a fantastic setting and the property blends in perfectly, with all the comforts. It feels completely isolated, yet easy to get to nearby attractions in Ninh Binh via motorbike or bicycles available for rent on site. Just the local taxi drivers seemed to have trouble with directions. Access road is quite rough and narrow in some spots, but no problems for any type of vehicle or walking. Owners were the most cheerful, kind and wonderful people.

This place is magical, surrounded by limestone mountains and green fields. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Except for the one day when we had a problem with the water pressure, everything about this place is outstanding. This is a family run property and feels like home. Brothers Duy and Tri are very friendly and accommodating. They even had a shot of Tequila with us. Food is great, especially the Banh Mi with homemade paté made by the uncle and fried rice. It's a bit of a trek going into the property but you are awarded with stunning views and peaceful surrounding. Highly recommended.

Like sleeping in Jurassic Park (minus the dinosaurs) Perfect stay in a perfect location. Tri, Anh and Duy, along with the rest of the staff, were outstanding. Restaurant was excellent and the 360 views were breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Glad we came and stayed 3 nights here. So peaceful and beautiful. Our driver was terrible and dropped us off about a 20-25 minute walk to our homestay. Our wonderful host came to the rescue on their motorbike and brought us one by one with our luggage to our oasis. There were 6 of us! From then on, I knew we picked the right place to stay. It's family run and Duy and Chi (sp) were so fun and lively to talk to. It was just outside of the city and the town was within walking distance or you could ride bicyles (free of charge) where there were restaurants and we even found a nice massage place at Mai Spa. All the activities we wanted to do were close and our host arranged our activities for us and even got us a taxi to take us to the night market in the city. The food was home cooked and delicious. This is the perfect place to stay to unwind and enjoy beautiful Ninh Binh.

This Homestay is surrounded by cliffs, u-shaped around a handful of cabins-bungalows. It is a little away from other places, not walking distance. But that’s why the setting is special. Even at night, the big picture window reveals the cliffs, part of the natural beauty of Ninh Binh area. The staff is young & friendly guys, always helpful. Their English is very good. They arrange for car & driver-we used their taxi guy for 2 days & paid him at the end. Very Friendly & reasonably-priced. The main room is the dining area (no lobby). The patio is even bigger, and unless it’s raining, that’s where to relax & even eat. The menu is super-big & not pricey. The pho was the best I’ve had in a long time. The bungalows are huge, wifi is decent there. Ninh Bình has many Homestays. This is a good one!
