My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 kids- ages 7, 9, &11. There was plenty of room for all of us, very well appointed, had everything we needed and the beach supplies were a nice bonus! Having the beach park right next door was amazing and the kids also loved the pool. This was a nice place to have as home base for seeing everything we wanted to see on the east side of the island!

Clean and bright We loved our stay at this place! It is located right next to Carlsmith Beach Park where you can snorkel and swim. It is very nicely appointed and has everything you need. It was nice to have an elevator with our luggage. We met the maintenance man on the way in who was very friendly and guided us to our place. Parking is free with a dedicated parking spot. The owner is very responsive and helpful!

Mauna Loa Shores Excellent Home Base A great place to stay as a home base to explore the Hilo area. The condo is well-provisioned, comfortable, and clean, and it more than met our needs. The Carl Smith Beach Park next door is a huge bonus - the lagoon is a wonderful place to swim or snorkel - and you literally walk out the parking lot and you are there!

Peaceful. Quiet. Close to beach. Everything we wanted and more! The property was beautifully kept, offering views of the ocean right from the lanai and only a few steps to immerse in the water. The house was well-equipped with everything you might need—modern kitchen, comfy beds, and a spacious living area. The proximity to Carlsmith Beach was ideal, just a short walk away to enjoy swimming with sea turtles and exploring tide pools. The host was incredibly attentive and responding to all our questions within a few minutes. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway in Hilo.

Nice location Condo was perfect for our needs. Pool was much better than I imagined from the photos on listing. Also appreciated having a designated parking spot during our stay. No a/c in this building so it was very warm in condo, but they had fans for every room. Would stay here again.
