It is rare to give a score of 10 out of 10, but Arthur’s lived up to expectation and more. The self check-in seemed a little impersonal at first sight, but it worked flawlessly. Our room (3) was perfect, and my wife loved the powerful hairdryer and shower. The breakfast offering is simply the best you will find anywhere, set in the stylish dining room which morphs into a coffee shop during the day. Jill epitomised a Northern Irish welcome with her chatty and warm attention. Thank you. There is no onsite parking but this was not really a problem with on-street parking and a public car park nearby. This is an old building so sound does travel, but the plus’s far outweigh this minor criticism. My wife comes from Hillsborough and we will be back!

I have to say this is one of best places I have stayed at for a while. I was most impressed by an impeccable customer service and the attention to detail on the small things that the big chains miss, based on cost cuttings. Clearly there has been great investment in the building and the rooms and they certainly cater for a short stay with all the creature comforts that one might need. Breakfast was amazing…. I have been to the coffee house before for a sandwich and drink which was equally good, but did not realise there was associated accommodation at the time. Would wholeheartedly recommend Arthur’s.
