Big difference with tip.com pictures!

We were attending a concert at Amalie Arena and stayed at this hotel. The area seemed a little rough, but we did not have any issues. The staff was super friendly. The room was large and clean. The hotel is super close to Amalie. We would stay here again.

I used my points to cover the cost. So that was the only good thing. The room had peeling paint and odd stains everywhere on walls, shower curtain.. I don’t expect a lot for an overnight hotel but it should have regular maintenance.. a little surprising that they are on your website.

Really dirty challenges to be comfortable had to go to Walmart to get sheet amongst other cleaning necessities. A real problem. The workers were all so nice. It did not match. The customer service was decent other than not having another room available. A lot of outside activity. At door all night sleep half in chair.

Where do I start? This hotel is not in the greatest area. As we drove up we passed about 6 homeless men laying and sitting on the street. When we drove onto the property we had to check twice and make sure it was the right place. Front desk area was very clean and the staff was very nice, I’ll give them that. We got our room key and took the elevator up, it was so dirty we were afraid to touch anything. As we got off the 3rd floor we were greeted by about 6 bags of trash. Once we got to the room we pulled the curtains and locked the door and said a little prayer. The was very clean, so that was good. Mirror was mounted crooked on the wall, lol. The beds are very hard. We only booked one night, and left asap the next morning. I gave 2 stars because the room was clean and staff was nice. But it’s in a very scary area. So be careful. Would not recommend for a family stay.

The bed sheets were full of cigarette burns and holes. The room smelled like cigarettes. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. A staff member started blowing the leaves at 8 AM on a Sunday morning. A staff member opened up my room door at 11 AM after we confirmed that our check out was at 12 PM. Extremely unprofessional staff.

Bathroom was dirty with dirty suds. Sink had toothpaste and nasal fluids from previous people. No coffee pot or drinking water. No soap. Curtains were inappropriate and short letting light in and outsiders see inside. Air conditioning was loud and sounded like someone knocking on doors. Will never go there again.

Each room they tried to give me was run down and mold in and around the tub. The front desk clerk was very unprofessional and disrespectful.

The first day that we arrived to the hotel, we saw many homeless people at the entrance around a fire they did to keep them warm. It was a little bit scary, we almost got out and prefer to loose our money than getting into the hotel. Also, there were lots stuff going on outside the hotel. We were hearing people speaking load both nights we stayed on this hotel.
