Restaurant experience was the worst experienced over many years travelling in France. Menu offered Only 3 Plats - grilled camembert, anduillet or hake. Desserts - Pear tartaflette, still frozen solid profiteroles or fromages. Room - basic with basin plug chain broken. Coffee powder - seemed ancient and un-drinkable. Petit dejeuner @ 11.90€ bare minimum. Such a shame as this hotel has plunged from mid-range to unacceptable.

Awful awful awful! Shoebox size room. Smelly corridor. Filthy toilet. Would never use again. Couldn’t have a shower as we only had two handkerchief size towels provided. Room was so small we couldn’t open a suitcase.

We find these hotels useful and practical for a quick overnight stop. It’s convenient to the ferry stop, and in the morning great for a quick breakfast and then quickly resume your journey. Don’t expect frills, that’s not what it about, but a useful convenience.

Out of date chalet style room. very cold as door opened straight onto outside. Ok, There's a partition door but cold air comes straight in. I asked for a double and got a twin. If I wanted to sleep in a single bed, I would have asked for one. Luckily I was only staying on my way to the ferry, and for that, it was adequate.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 5 years and always had a pleasant experience. However, this time we requested dinner on arrival, but were not advised that there was NO buffet any more and that there was a choice of 2 starters and three mains. We decided on the starters and both were inedible and the bread rolls were stale with no butter offered. We ordered a carafe of wine which was undrinkable. We will not be coming back again.

Our first time in the hotel. It is located next to the Memorial Park in Caen. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The rooms are clean and have their own bathrooms. The breakfast is cheap and well worth having.

Overall the accommodation was OK, very minor issues with lack of replacement coffee/tea. Main issue was incorrect billing, with a charge for four sets of breakfasts when only 1 was taken. Error was pointed out and bill amended.

The hotel is advertised as 3 star. Our room was clean but scruffy and in need of renovation or, at least re-decoration. One light did not work and the desk light had a faulty switch. There was a clean mark on the wall where a panel or notice had been removed. There was a notice about how the room had been carefully cleaned - this did not extend to the lamp base which was very dusty. Its shade was cracked, flaking and discoloured. I reported the dangerous light switch when I checked out and was met with indifference. A very disappointing experience which did not meet expectations.
