What a gem of a find. Attention to detail second to none, peaceful and beautifully appointed rooms and an outstanding breakfast. Nothing too much trouble - Congratulations to the team. Would recommend a stay for anyone wanting to get away from the busyness of life for a few days

Ten day stay in March, immaculatey clean property in a great location close to Grotto Beach. Super breakfast each day from wonderful friendly people. Close to some nice walks too. Will be booking again soon

Well-kept location to explore the area, in quiet neighbourhood, good facilities/service (wonderful bathroom, good breakfast, lounge and terrace - not private for our room but available). Short distance to beautiful beaches and hiking area. Short drive to interesting towncentre.

We stayed here for one night only as a stop on our route from Wilderness to Franschhoek, but if we wouldn't have had other plans already we would have stayed a bit longer for sure. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood in lovely Hermanus. From the accommodation it's a short walk to the beach.For restaurants you need to drive a few minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good quality breakfast.

What a fabulous guest house! Stylish, comfortable , quiet, secure. It's 2 mins from the huge and spectacular beach, 5 mins from the golf course and 10 mins from the beautiful town. Veronica and Trevor couldn't have done more to make our stay fantastic. They were both welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spacious room with private courtyard and the guest house has a lovely shared mezzanine area with spectacular views over the bay - a perfect spot for a glass of wine and some sunset watching & star gazing. Would definitely recommend and will return if we're back in Hermanus (which I have to admit, is a place I've fallen a little bit in love with!!)

Knysna is one of the best places to stay on the Garden Route and Leisure Island the best place to stay. Tranquil, safe and groomed. Bollards Bay has a fantastic view of the lagoon and is one of the friendliest B&Bs we have stayed in. The fact that every guest there was a return says everything. The views, two pools and lounge area are lovely. It is a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are large with comfortable beds ans good shower. The breakfast is a bonus and served on a lovely terrace, with Mike, the owner in attendance and available with help and advice. You will not be disappointed. Great value

We had a fantastic time staying at Whale Coast Ocean Villa. Aurelia and her team did a great job making us feel at home and looking after all our needs. Our room was spacious and we had a great view; the beach is within easy walking distance and there is ample secure parking.

There is no doubt about recommending Whale Coast Ocean villa for anyone requiring excellence on every level. Attention to detail, friendliness, incredible service on every level. A home from home without the housework. Aurelia and her team made our stay exemplary. We’ll be back !

There is only one venue in my opinion. Whale coast ocean villa. It’s a home from home without the housework. Aurelia and staff were all smiles and phonemenal hosts through our 2 week stay Extremely accommodating, spotless, delicious breakfasts and well situated. No doubt we’ll be back again. Highly recommended
