We had been contemplating an Andaman trip for a few years. However, we didn’t go ahead with the plan as the accommodations and facilities weren’t promising enough for our “ideal fancy holiday” randomness, which by the way, we were so wrong to assume. This we had not realised until this summer when we actually took our big step to explore the ethereal island no matter what. And, what a holiday it was! Without a second thought, we would credit our amazing holiday experience to the Taj Exotica Resort Andamans. From pick-up on Day 1 to welcoming us at the reception, room allocation, briefing on various preferred activities, local tips, drop-off at the ferry on our last day, and many other arrangements, the services were impeccable. Oh yes, they really know how to pamper their guests. Some of the little gestures which absolutely took us in awe: 1. An entourage of cheerful smiling faces welcomed us with earthly humility the moment we were seated at the reception lobby. 2. The service heads personally joined the group to welcome us giving it a very personalised experience. 3. Welcome drinks were tender coconut juice from real coconuts presented in flower-shaped handmade jute baskets. A 1000-point for the eco-friendly and creative thought! 4. A soulful welcome song (in local language) by the entourage. The song was about Andaman and the island’s beauty. 5. The ‘chilled-out’ check-in process, unlike the usual long formalities at 5-star properties. It was all done even before we realised, all while we were seated at the huge airy reception lobby sipping our coconut water. 6. When they heard that it was my bucketlist wish to do scuba on my birthday, they arranged for a special scuba diving slot despite all regular slots being full. 7. A complimentary framed photo that completely took us by surprise. They took a photo of you after your check-in process was complete. In the evening, they came and handed the photo placed inside a delicately shell-decorated frame. 8. A surprise goodbye flower bouquet by the housekeeping staff, made from flowers grown at the property garden. 9. A surprise bon-voyage cake-cutting arrangement after breakfast on the check-out day. 10. A surprise manta ray memento from the Taj as a bon voyage gift before we got into the car for our return journey. 11. And this one is our favourite and the sweetest ever: the entire staff crew dropped us at the car and bid us a heartfelt goodbye by waving with both hands and kept waving until the car was out of sight from the property. Why you must stay in Taj Andamans if you are planning for an Andaman Island(s) trip: 1. The property is built with eco-consciousness. You will find centuries-old heritage and iconic trees inside the property. 2. The property has private access to Radhanagar Beach. It pretty much feels like a private beach because no one really walks to this end of the beach from the public access area. 3. I had one of most wonderful experience at Taj Andaman!! The property as the name suggets gives an exotic experience. The high tea at beach side with the sunset is the highlight of the stay!! I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend the place if one is looking for a perfect getaway!!!!

We had a great and comfy stay at this property. Hospitality, location and food everything was just perfect. I have no words to explain how peaceful and complaint-less our stay was with them. Wish we have more days to stay there. Complete staff was really caring and helpful. Their private beach is definitely a cherry on the cake. Would love to revisit soon.

The Linen in the room was so perfect. I have never slept in such a comfortable bed. It was like I’m sleeping on a cloud. The way the room was. It was a huge room cleanliness on top. The view from the beach was absolutely amazing. I would recommend everyone to have a stay at this wonderful property.

The stay was wonderful . Staff very polite and helpful . My compliments to the chef at Shorline for serving great food and also restaurant manager for taking good care of us. Cocktails and grill at Turtle house a must try . villas are well maintained .Highly recommended.

Just returned from an incredible vacation and dreaming of going back again. The property is stunning and well maintained. Beautiful villas, stunning ocean views, lush gardens, luxurious amenities, diverse food options. Customer service is beyond amazing. The personal touch from the entire staff is incredible and highly appreciated. The front desk team were efficient and welcoming also allowed us a late checkout. Everyone always anticipated our needs and remembered our personal preferences like Debasheesh at the pool getting a specific pillow for my kid / swim goggles for me, or Pabitra and Nadeem getting a specific type of dosa for breakfast or the housekeeping (sorry I forgot the names) for keeping extra cups and glasses in the room. Rajeev took great care of us at the restaurant. His attention to detail was impressive. Undoubtedly the chefs were amazing but he made sure every aspect of our meals were perfect. We also loved the candle light dinner and the delicious cake arranged specially for us. Joydeep at the pool always provided us with immense information regarding the birds, Andaman history or swim techniques. Jim and Bikash made mind blowing cocktails as per our liking. I’m sure I have left out some more names but everyone was so friendly and genuinely seemed to care to make our stay extra special. Can’t wait to comeback and experience all of this once again. 5 stars isn’t enough. I’d give a 100 if I could.
