As you would expect for a Premier Inn the accommodation was fine. The hotel itself is a bit of a rabbit warren and our room (no.6) involved having to go up from reception, then across, then down into an annex. The staff were all friendly. There is an attached Brewer's Fayre which we used (and was fine) for the normal PI breakfast. If you would rather a non-chain dinner option then there is a local pub The Harrow Inn that is less than 10 minutes walk away where you can get good value, home-cooked food (many mains at £6.95) - well worth it if you don't fancy the standard BF type of thing. There are also a McDonald's and Sainsbury's next to the hotel. My one issue with PI is why have an environmental policy about re-using towels when you stay for more than one night then every time you still replace them? I have yet to have a PI follow this policy.

Have had a few good times here though this hotel is right out of the way of the town centre and definitely is a bus or a car journey away, however they have quiet rooms and a good meal service for both mornings and evenings. Would come here again as it is a popular place for a stay.
