i spent three weeks in morocco and la source was my best auberge experience. the staff and owners were helpful on another level with everything. i had some trouble that could have become serious on the last day, but it was solved only because of their trust in me. i intend to come back to this wonderful place.

This is a fantastic hotel on the edge of the Sahara Desert. A very warm welcome was received. Amazing camel ride and camp dinner then entertainment afterwards. Absolutely magical. The hotel room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and plentiful. Could not recommend this place highly enough. It is an absolute bargain and a real gem.

Amazing people!! Zaid you are the best!! I love the guy that guiding us when we were riding the camels and dance together your local dance!! Afrikaa!! Morocco!!! Ali Baba!! Incredibly special experience. I’m stunned to see the 1* overall rating as I found throughout my stay nothing but clean venues and friendly/helpful staff. The food was good, my tent (despite being in the desert) had no insects, the camels were treated much better than I’d have ever imagined and everyone, especially Hamid, was super friendly, well informed and patient, even during time of Ramadan, where you’d imagine them to be tired and hungry. I trekked out before midnight and managed to witness a meteor falling (mind blowing) and somehow lost my phone out of my pocket 🙈 I told Hamid and we went in search of it, he even told me I could sit and wait and he’d follow the footsteps!! Together we somehow found my phone and enjoyed a mint tea together, whilst speaking about everything from the animals in the desert in both summer and winter, the irrigation systems used, the differing of people and culture and traditions across the country and its history. I learned so much during this trip and couldn’t recommend it more! Absolute must visit 💫

We travelled to Marocco as a group of five and decided to book a camel tour at the Auberge La Source where we also stayed one night. What can I say... the costumer really comes first here. We have barely experienced such great hospitality, the host made it his personal responsibilty to fulfill our every need and wish, so dont shy away from any additional requests! Great overall experience, especially for the more than fair price.

The source hotel is very welcoming. clean and confortable. the camp in the desert is an experience truly exciting. the hotel staff is friendly and ready for any need. everything perfect. highly recommended!!

I guess all the reviews says it all. Incredibly well managed. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We had an incredible stay at the camp that was far more than luxurious. The staff is so kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious! I wish we were able to stay longer.

There is little I could say to describe how incredible my experience in this hotel / camp was. The hotel is run by three brothers that made sure we had everything we needed at all times. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting the food in a camp in the middle of the Sahara desert to be very good, but I was proven wrong as the brothers prepared a local and traditional meal that was delicious. One of the best I had in my whole trip in Morocco. At night, the brothers lit a camp fire and we sat around it talking and they even played some traditional music for us which was really interesting. We even got a chance to play ourselves! One of the best parts was when one of the brothers, Hamid, took us on a walk at night to see the moon rise from the highest dune there was. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend Auberge La Source enough. At the end of the day it’s the people you are with that truly make an experience worthwhile, and for that I have to thank Zaid, Mohamed, and Hamid. Thank you my friends! I will be back.
