Beautiful location, very comfortable room, very tasty hot breakfast included with our room cost. We stayed two nights and breakfast was a different delicious meal each day. Judy met us when we arrived and we knew right away we would have a great stay. This lovely B and B is located on the Port de Grave Peninsula near Bay Roberts, NL. Lots to explore nearby: Green Point Lighthouse, Cupids and Brigus where the Hawthorne Cottage National Historic Site, the Brigus Tunnel and the Captain Robert Abram Bartlett Memorial are located.

This is a wonderful base location to explore the area. The breakfasts and di ner are superb, rooms and common areas spotless, beds super cozy, and hostess very friendly. The common areas, both inside and out, fosters a lovely opportunity to meet others and visit about your day. Highly recommended.

Fellow travellers to Bay Roberts/ Bareneed/Brigus Newfoundland area look no further than The Bayside Bed and Breakfast!!! Judy is a wonderful hostess!! Her home is wonderful, inviting, comfortable, and has multi-million dollar views , not to mention incredible breakfasts!!! We had the room with the included bathroom. It was very nice. Judi makes a great breakfast and knows the area very well. The place has a really great view. Even saw fireworks in Bay Roberts, which is a few miles up the Bay. Not really that difficult to find if you adhere to her written directions. It is right on the only road up the peninsula.

We found this B&B to be in a perfect location to explore this part of Newfoundland. You must go into the busy fishing port of Port de Grave and learn about the fishery. There are so many hikes within a short drive. You can also visit Harbour Grace, Carbonear, ***** Brewing Company, and Hearts Content Cable Museum from here. There is so much to do a short drive away. Judy runs a delightful B&B. We were in the Blue Cove room with a private attached bathroom. The room is huge, the bed is super comfy, and the finest linens and towels. Even a giant TV! The main sitting area is delightful to visit with the other guests with 24 hr coffee, glassware for your beverages, etc. There is outdoor seating on the ocean, too. The breakfasts are really special and very filling. Ample parking for guests. Grocery stores nearby if you want to eat at home. The pictures on the website accurately reflect this B&B. 5 stars.

This is a fantastic place to stay. You feel like you are the first guest to be there. Judy is a great host who keeps the place immaculate. Our breakfasts were top notch!!! Can't wait to stay there again.
