The reception was very friendly and flexible when we changed our arrival date 7 hours before arrival. Free large car park on the other side of the river and 5 minutes walk. Our room on the second floor was 44m2 with a bath and very comfortable beds. At night you can sleep with your windows open as they are covered with a mosquito net. The only sound you hear is the river and waterfall. Breakfast service very friendly and buffet at 4 star level. For € 149,54 including breakfast and all taxes absolute value for money!

Absolutely delightful. The hotel is well situated in the old town. The room was absolutely delightful, clean spacious and well presented. The staff were excellent, informative and willing to assist. In fact they went out of their way to help. The breakfast spread was also brilliant, well presented with lots of options with everything being fresh inclusive of the free range eggs. The Hotel was happy to cater for gluten free. We will definitely be going back should we be heading that way again. 5 star rating in my assessment.

The hotel is excellent and is situated where two local rivers meet. The staff are professional and extremely helpful. The reception area and the rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed was amazing. Breakfast with local eggs and homemade jams and a choice of several breads was so delicious. I drove 6 hours from Switzerland to stay here as it was a beautiful area of Germany 🇩🇪 which I did not know. It was my first visit but definitely not my last. Well done and sincere congratulations to an amazing staff. The proof of a highly dynamic team of workers can be felt so much and we are made to feel important guests in a peaceful haven. Thankyou so much for making our family trip away so amazing.

Wir waren mit 25 Goldhochzeitsgästen im Alten Packhof. Anlassbedingt war viel zu organisieren und abzusprechen. Dies ist großartig gelungen und wir durften stressfrei unsere Goldhochzeit feiern. Alle unsere Gäste waren begeistert vom Empfang an der Wasser und Cafestation mit 24 Stunden freien Service und der Unterbringung. Das Hotel ist super und hat Charakter. Am besten aber sind die Mitarbeiter. Man hat uns wirklich alles Verständnis der Welt entgegen gebracht und uns zudem familiär behandelt. Das Frühstück zum Feierabschluss war einer Goldhochzeit entsprechend großzügig und es fehlte uns an nichts. Unser Fazit: Immer wieder gerne Gast im Alten Packhof ! : )))

Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und auch bei schrägen Wänden komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Fenster haben Fliegengitter, so dass man Sommer wie Winter die Fenster offen lassen kann, obwohl man direkt am Fluss wohnt. Sehr freundliches Personal

Wir waren nur zum Frühstück dort. Das Frühstück hat sowohl in der Qualität als auch Quantität deutlich abgenommen. Wir wahren um 9 Uhr dort. Das Buffet war um diese Zeit schon wie leergefegt...man bekommt die Speisen aber auf Nachfrage hin an den Tisch geliefert. Wo ist hier der Sinn eines Buffets?? Dann kann ich auch a la carte frühstücken gehen. Das hausgemachte Müsli im Glas hatte einen Stich, schmeckte säuerlich und war definitiv schon 3-Tage alt. Schuld war wohl eine Aushilfskraft,die das Gläschen mehrere Tage hintereinander immer wieder aufs Buffett gestellt hat, lt. Bedienung. Unglaublich....Ansonsten gab es keine Entschuldigung. Aufbackbrötchen gab es noch drei Stück, für jeden von uns eins...weitere gab es auch nur nach Aufforderung mit dem Hinweis, dass das Aufbacken aber 30 Minuten dauere.. Zur Info: bis zum offiziellen Ende des Frühstücks war noch 1 Stunde! Mit 19 Euro pro Person absolut schlechtes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis!
