8 on Oregon Boutique Lodge

Great location to the downtown (a little hill walk home). Quiet, great view down the valley. Hosts were awesome and inviting. Breakfast set up was lovely. Recommendations for where and when to go to eat were spot on. Definitely would stay again.

We found the lodge extremely comfortable and it seemed that the owners love their place to take care of the smallest details. The view is breathtaking and just to sit a the balcony and see the garden and the singing of the birds makes your heart fill with joy! Thank you

A peaceful haven with exquisite views, glorious garden and alpine retreat feel. The rooms are named after and incorporate vital history of the district. Jill and Dave are the hosts with the most, very welcoming and engaging, with little treats left everywhere. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed here for our 39 year wedding anniversary and everything was just fabulous. The room and balcony has wonderful views and the garden is amazing. We especially loved seeing and hearing the bellbirds and Tūī. Lynn and Dave are such friendly welcoming hosts. I give 8 On Oregon five well deserved stars.

We spent a wonderful couple of nights at 8 on Oregon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge has beautiful views from the decks and a lovely garden that attracts the native birds. Jill and Dave's hospitality is second to none - they are friendly and welcoming. This is the perfect place for a peaceful escape; it's within handy walking distance to town with its cafes and restaurants, and to the hot pools. Would thoroughly recommend that anyone who is looking for a relaxing, adult only place to stay chooses 8 on Oregon.

8 on Oregon is an amazing place to stay. We stayed in ‘Clarence’, the room was delightful, and the view from our veranda, out to the Leslie hills stunning. The bathroom had a large walk in shower, large fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. The choice for breakfast was wide and varied, and could be eaten in the lounge or taken to your room. Complimentary towels are available if you choose to go to Hanmer Springs pools.
