가족과 함께 미국에서 해밀턴 섬으로 휴가를 가기 전에 해밀턴 섬에 대한 리뷰를 읽어보지 않은 것을 후회합니다. 돌이켜보면, 그곳에 가지 않았을 겁니다. 너무 많은 것이 잘못되었습니다. 서비스는 형편없었고, 직원들은 무례하고 시비를 걸었고, 인프라도 부족했습니다. 처음에는 항공편, 날짜, 여행, 도착 등에 대한 양식을 작성하도록 요청했지만, 도착했을 때는 그런 정보가 전혀 없어서 처음부터 다시 작성해야 했습니다. 이것이 남은 숙박 기간의 전조였습니다. 그들은 우리에게 임대했던 집의 잘못된 열쇠를 주었습니다(또 다시 전조였습니다. 집이 끔찍했기 때문입니다). 그래서 우리는 버기를 타고 산을 내려가서 올바른 열쇠를 받아야 했습니다. 그때쯤 모든 직원들이 도착장을 떠난 것을 알게 되었습니다. 그래서 우리는 올바른 열쇠를 줄 사람을 찾아야 했습니다. "휴가용 숙소"인 헬레코니아 11에 도착했는데 정말 끔찍했습니다. 현관문이 벗겨지고 안에는 곰팡이 냄새가 진동했고, 침실 커튼은 내려져 있었고, 창문은 더럽고, 소파에는 구멍이 나 있었습니다. 에어컨은 카펫에 물이 새고 있었습니다. 마치 사교 클럽 하우스 같았습니다. 정말 끔찍했습니다. 두 시간쯤 후 "프런트 데스크"에 연락했지만, 이사할 방법이 없었습니다. 결국 직접 상황을 해결해야 했고, 섬의 마지막 에어비앤비를 찾았는데, 정말 구세주였습니다. 프런트 데스크에 연락하고 이메일도 보내고, 무려 여섯 번이나 전화했지만, 원래 숙소를 떠난 후에야 답장을 받았습니다. 아직 지불한 주 숙박비는 환불받지 못했습니다. 휘트선데이 크루즈 다이빙 투어: 다이빙을 계획 중이라면 이 종일 "투어"에 가입하지 마세요. "다이빙 보트 투어"라고 해도 과언이 아닙니다. 카니발 크루즈 라인에 탑승하는 것과 마찬가지입니다. 한 척의 배에 사람이 너무 많고, 액티비티도 너무 많이 계획되어 있습니다. 어수선하고 서비스도 형편없었고, 직원들은 무례했고, 다이빙은 끔찍했습니다. 미국에서 그레이트 배리어 리프까지 다이빙을 하러 왔는데, 정말 형편없는 경험이었습니다. 정말 어처구니가 없습니다. 가시게 된다면 현지 파디나 나우이 다이빙 그룹을 이용하세요. 전반적으로 식사와 바 서비스도 마찬가지로 형편없고 무례했습니다. 너무 많아서 자세히 설명할 수가 없습니다. 해밀턴 아일랜드의 경영진과 소유주들은 이 끔찍한 경험을 바로잡고 개선해야 합니다. 아름다운 곳이고 마법 같은 경험을 선사해야 하지만, 절대 그렇지 않습니다.

히든 코브 2에 묵었습니다. 숙소는 좋았고 전망도 훌륭했습니다. 하지만 처음부터 문제가 있었습니다. 도착했을 때 버기가 고장 나서 어른과 아이들이 짐을 들고 내려가는 유일한 방법은 아주 길고 긴 계단을 내려가는 것이었습니다. 걸어서 5분 정도 걸렸습니다. 비가 오고 미끄러워서 여러 사람이 넘어졌습니다. 그 후 이틀 동안 시설에 들어갈 열쇠도 없었고, 문제 발생 시 연락할 번호나 와이파이 접속 코드도 알려주지 않았습니다. 유일하게 연락할 수 있었던 사람은 발레파킹 직원이었고, 문제 해결을 위해 최선을 다해 도와주었습니다. 버기를 교체했는데 그날 밤 버기가 작동하지 않아서 배터리가 최대 0.5시간밖에 지속되지 않았습니다. 그래서 섬 반대편으로 가서 다른 버기를 찾으라고 했습니다. 다행히 발레파킹 직원이 우리를 태워서 데려다주었습니다. 걸어야 할 거리가 꽤 컸기 때문입니다. 잠자리 공간 중 하나에 블라인드가 없어서 아이들은 매일 아침 일찍 일어났습니다. 침대 중 하나에는 이불 커버가 없었습니다. 주방에는 티타올이 없었고, 스파 욕조도 작동하지 않았습니다. 10명이 잘 수 있는 집치고는 식기와 접시가 턱없이 부족했습니다. 고쳐 주겠다고 했지만 아무런 답변도 없었습니다. 숙소에서 나갈 수 있는 유일한 방법은 매우 가파르고 미끄러운 진입로에서 직접 짐을 챙겨 도로로 올라가는 것뿐이었습니다. 공용 수영장 구역에 있는 스파 제트 작동 버튼에 감전 사고가 나서 아내가 버튼을 눌렀습니다. 다음 날 관리팀이 수리해 주었지만, 아직은 미흡했습니다. 이곳은 훌륭한 숙박 경험을 제공할 수 있었지만, 세심한 배려와 세심함이 부족했습니다. 해밀턴 아일랜드의 주택들은 고급 휴가용 주택으로서의 가치를 제대로 보여주지 못하고 있습니다.

섬에 처음 왔는데 정말 즐거웠어요. 티끌 하나 없이 깨끗하고 편안하며 마치 낙원 같은 느낌이었어요. 어떤 면에서는 영화 촬영장에서 온통 버기만 날아다니는 것 같았어요. 아름다운 해변, 레스토랑, 그리고 편의시설까지 모두 완벽했어요. 꼭 다시 방문하고 싶어요.

가족과 함께 Casuarina Cove #2를 예약했는데, 도착하자마자 아파트가 일찍 준비되어 있어서 열쇠와 유모차를 받고 바로 출발했습니다. 장점은 여기까지였습니다. 도착하자마자 냉장고가 제대로 작동하지 않는다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 3일 동안 여러 번 전화하고 서비스를 기다리는 동안, 냉장고는 고장 난 다른 냉장고로 교체되었고, 다음 날도 다시 교체되었습니다. 결국, 마지막 24시간 동안만 작동하는 냉장고를 사용할 수 있었고, 여러 가지 음식을 사용할 수 없었고 음료도 차갑지 않았습니다. 욕실은 선반이 부러지는 등 수리가 필요했고, 머무는 동안 아무도 온수 샤워를 할 수 없었습니다. 1박에 700달러라는 가격은 기대에 미치지 못했습니다. 휴가용 숙소 측의 반응은 좋지 않았고, 숙소를 소유하지 않고 관리만 한다고 말하며 문제를 인정했습니다. Reef View Hotel에 묵으면 훨씬 더 나은 경험을 할 수 있을 것입니다.

대여한 유모차가 손상되었다는 주장으로 최대 9,000달러의 요금이 청구되었습니다. 이 결정이 너무 성급하게 내려져 고객/소비자로서 추가 조사 및 다른 대안을 모색할 충분한 시간을 갖지 못했습니다. 유모차가 이미 노후되었고 배터리 수명이 짧아 불편을 초래했습니다. 해밀턴 휴가 여행에는 이 회사를 추천하지 않습니다.

Stayed in Oasis 16 nice apartment with lovely views but it's desperately in need of tlc. The place is ready for a full makeover but whilst the owner doesn't even provide salt, pepper oil or even Shampoo I don't think it will anytime soon. The island is beautiful and our package included snorkeling canoe, paddle boards and even a catamaran. On Catseye beach Unfortunately they failed to mention you can only do this around 8am in the morning on high tide. So you'll see lots of gleaming looking equipment but no one at sea. The last day you need to leave your apartment by 10am but your flight doesn't leave until 14.50 Would it be hard to offer free towels at one of the pools so you could at least swim or bathe and have something to do for 5 hours A 5 star holiday island run by 3 star management. The staff on the ground I found very pleasant

Beautiful place, but rained the whole time. DO NOT come in rainy season. Complete wait of money and time. The Qualia is very nice, and made it bearable. Food is not great. Great staff. People are so nice. I had no idea about the weather. I hear Aug is the best month

Stayed in Shorelines apartments and it was very dirty, there was dirt and sand on the floors it didn't seem as though it had been vacuumed, the walls and doors were filthy and covered in scuffs and dirty prints, there were badly patched up holes in the walls, and then a huge open hole in the wardrobe ceiling of the bedroom. The accommodation included buggy hire, which we drove very carefully, so were very shocked to receive an email from the front office saying that we'd hit a curb and damaged the front tyre and axel - which we definitely did not. There is no way that we could prove we didn't do this and zero options to challenge this in any way because we signed a contract and the damage was not something we could take a photo of to prove otherwise. We've had to pay over $500 for something we didn't do, it was an awful experience, absolutely will never return to Shorelines (Hamilton Island Holiday Homes) or Hamilton Island.

Absolutely rubbish. No services to help you with anything. You ring guest services but they don’t come. Apartment looks rubbish not like photos and nothing works. Biggie broke down first 5 minutes Wifi rubbish Tv doesn’t work Frangapani 001 apartment is rubbish Don’t waste your money. Book a serviced hotel

They don't accept cash the aster is no crystal clear the snorkelling is allowed xtra food very expensive They don't accept cash so we left next boat out of there

It saddens me to say that our experience with Hamilton Island Holiday Homes tainted our family holiday that we had been so looking forward to. We were notified 5 days before our stay that there would be drilling operations into the roof and floor of the room next door to us. Now instead of offering to accommodate us in some way (for example, I have read of other property management teams offering day outings to their clientele affected by similar works) we were simply reminded that because units in the complex were individually owned, there was nothing they could do as they had no authority over the works. After we expressed our immense frustration we were offered a 10% discount on our stay, but it was disappointing to have to complain before anything was offered our way. And frankly, I can't believe we were not relocated as I believe this could have been possible in april/may outside of school holiday time. During our stay, we got way more than we bargained for. In addition to works next door, there were also jackhammering operations in the unit directly above us. When we contacted Hamilton Island Holiday Homes, they had no awareness of these works. On one day when my husband contacted them because the works were so loud, they did not pick up our call and routinely took several hours to respond via an email. Our 2 year old was trying to nap while the noise level was averaging 85db, peaking at over 100db. The apartment was essentially a construction site, and I can't believe that it is even legal to charge for something that clearly is not safe to be in, or that hearing protection was not offered. On another day, we came back from a half day boat trip unable to replenish our drink bottles because we had no cold water to the apartment. Again, Hamilton Island Holiday Homes were not aware that this would be occuring. On this occasion (and others) they said they would follow up on the issue and advise us on updates, which rarely occurred. Overall, very disappointed with the communication and customer service from Hamilton Island Holiday Homes during our family vacation. The line "that there is nothing they can do" in this situation is just not acceptable, and I have no doubt that substantially more could have been done to make the stay for our young family of five far more comfortable and worthy of the money we spent.

It didn’t help to see, what I assume is the pool light fitting , floating in the water with wires unattached to side of pool Inadequate crockery for people it is meant to accommodate. Dirty cushions which need a good wash. Clothes dryer on balcony broken Blind in second room broken . Great views from balcony .

My Wife booked this property cause it looked great from the website of Hamo Island villas Oasis Unit 24. For $700 per night you would expect the place to be cleaned and presentable. As you can see from my photos the place is lacking big time the cleanliness and functionality. The lounges are all stained and soiled inside and the outside ones were the same. The exhaust fans throughout the unit had dust caked up on them. The fan blades were also covered in dust and aircons filters were covered also. The light fixtures are inside and out are all rusted. The bathrooms have mould in the grout and under the lips of the shower screens and doors. The second bathroom shower door didn't close correctly cause it was off the track. Outside balcony was scattered with animal poo 💩. The oven hasn't been cleaned in such a long time as there was build up of grease and fat. The walls throughout the whole villa have marks and stains. The other thing also they don't supply any little body wash, shampoo and conditioners but they do give you 2 small pieces of soap. The master bed is absolutely terrible to sleep on as its hard as a rock and bows to the centre. The pillows and linen are really budget from target. One of the quilts had stains all over it. My wife and I ended up moving out of the master to the other bedroom for the rest of our stay as we couldn't sleep on that mattress. At night the lights outside to get to the property didn't work. Was really dangerous cause you couldn't see the steps you had to climb up and down. I spoke to a girl I saw at the poolnarea who worked for the company and said she would get someone to fix it asap. That night we left for dinner and 2 of the 3 lights worked when we left but once we came home they weren't working again. Was lucky my wife or daughter never hurt themselves. Also a massive big hole is right as you come towards the main entrances to the units. The pool area is very small and no seating or tables. Only 2 sunlounges are in the area.

Do your homework on these homes. Very steep and winding access driveway is in poor repair and is dangerous when wet. Buggies have no traction down steep ramps when wet. Some homes have steep stairs on entry to the premises so not great for those with mobility issues. House 1 has a good living area on the main level with one bedroom on this level so those with mobility issues can avoid stairs but laundry more bedrooms and pool are downstairs. Air conditioning kept stopping in spite of repeated efforts to fix. Only 2 burners out or 4 on the BBQ worked so gave up. Kitchen cupboards are gimmicky and parts of the mechanisms and part of the dishwasher were left in cupboards. Glass doors have dropped (should be a building warranty issue to repair) difficult to open and close as they grind on the bottom of the door frame and will only get worse. Many issues to fix on what appear be relatively new builds. I’d hate to see the condition of these houses in a few years time. Very disappointing for the money. Will try somewhere else next time.
