Wellness Hotel Gyula

The rooms and hotel is very clean. The personal was very polite and they are speaking also Romanian language. The hotel is close to Gyula Strand. (2 min walking). The food (all 3 daily meals) was very delicious and varied. They have inside the hotel a very nice and big Playroom for children.

We have been here for a couple of days. A stunning hotel with amazing services, lovely staff and a great F&B experience. The location was perfect, a solid 5 minutes walk to the downtown and next to the Várfürdő. The housekeeping staff was always smiling and being extra nice, Orsi and Sziszi at the reception, Ákos and Laura at the restaurant was outstanding. We enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended!

This is the third time I've been there. I like the great kitchen and the comfortable room. The greatest of all is the location on the bank of the Élő csatorna, a small channel across the town. The staff is friendly and helpful, meals are very good.

I was in this hotel for the second time. The room is very spacious on the floor with carpet and a spacious balloon with clothes dryer. The room was cleaned every day with the possibility of changing towels and bathrobes whenever needed. The difference from the first time I was there was that the food was not as varied as last time.

Where do I start. Not a 4 star hotel. Lucky to be 3 stars. Hotel nice and clean reception was friendly and informative. Hotel room was clean but was very cold . Bathroom was the warmest room has we put radiator on full blast . Shower are was big a area . But shower itself was useless no power at all . Should be at least a power shower. Spa area was ok . Pool water was a bit cold for me has you could not swim in it. Suna was fantastic. Steam room was rubbish not much steam and was cold in there . Now to the restaurant and food . On entrance to restaurant no good morning or afternoon just room number. Think the restaurant manager was not very good. Never spoke to anyone. If you order a drink would order a double round has they charged 15 percent service charge. Guess that’s why waiting staff did really speak has they don’t need to work for a tip . Food itself was shocking worse food I have seen. My mother in law food his a lot better standard. Even my Hungarian family said food was very basic . If I stay there again would be on bed and breakfast only . Has location his very good. Sorry but they need to address the problem with the restaurant manager and so called chefs

We book an apartment since we travel as family of 4. The rooms and bathroom were big, clean, even the kids received bathrobes, enough towels. The spa center is ok for the purpose however a bit small. The food was not that various but freshly cooked and tasty. The whole personel was very kind and happy to help. Great idea and Congrats to the management for it - they allowed us to use the robes and towels in the public bath which is just across the street from the hotel. The only minus thing for us was the sofa bed- very uncomfortable.
