Could do with a deep clean. Stayed more than one night and sheets were not changed for three days despite marks being on them from where I ate food in bed. More concerning were these devices from Rentokil. Two were underneath the bed and two were on open view in wardrobe area. Puzzled why they were there is there wasn’t a problem?

My wife and I recently stayed at Cross Keys for five nights' B&B and were immediately struck by the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. Evening meals were available when we wanted them and were of very good quality. Cooked breakfasts were tasty, imaginative, substantial and well varied. Our room was good with all usual facilities including a large well-positioned TV set. Value for money was very good.

Lovely, clean spacious venue, and super-friendly and helpful staff through-out. Myself and a couple of friends recently stayed overnight and had an evening meal, drinks, and breakfast in the morning – it was all very nice and we did not leave disappointed. Quite the opposite. And a special shout out to Sharon and Jade at Sunday breakfast who both went the extra mile in answering my coffee questions and cup-refilling!! If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend a visit.

We decided to call on the spur of the moment and we were fortunate to get a table without much delay .Lucy introduced herself and made us feel welcome.Our drinks order was prompt. We ordered mixed grill and fillet steak my wife is fussy about how her steak is cooked and this was conveyed to the chef.The food didn’t take too long to arrive.Tom ,the chef,came out to check that the steak was fine,it was.The meal was very tasty and reasonably priced.I would recommend trying the place out

Nice pub and clean but the food was not up to my standards, calamari was slightly overcooked so was a little rubbery and burger was well undercooked. I’m not one to complain so didn’t eat it, staff never asked once if all was ok. Stairway to upstairs rooms smelt very damp and rooms need updating, bathroom is tired.

Me and my partner went for food, was amazing Gemma the chef cooked our burgers to perfection! Would definitely recommend! Didn't have to wait long for our food and again was cooked to perfection. Great service and wasn't expensive which was nice. Would recommend

Arrive for Sunday dinner with my 3 year old son and partner, wouldn’t recommend staff where rude and judgmental, was ignored by all staff throughout meal wasnt checked by any member of staff about meal waste of money beef state is cooked pink however come over cooked and dry no flavour. Gravy tasteless no mash potatoes, roast potatoes were dry. Most bland meal I have ever eaten. Wouldn’t say it is family friendly by the looks I had off many member of staff. Won’t be returning
