Once again lm amazed at the hard working staff at this hotel . I have to say this was by far my best holiday!! Never ran out of any essentials and the food was excellent as usual. After 28 days I could’ve easily stayed longer but I still work so this year was the hardest for me to leave . Brisas is like a home away from home. Big shoutout to Yoania , Madeline and Cesar for making it better than great. Love Cuba

I have stayed at Brisas many times since 2013 and have experienced an enjoyable stay every time! I can't understand complainers! Don't you go there for the amazing beach, the white fine sand and the Sun? Food might not be up to your variety standards, but is always so tastefully prepared, not to mention the a la carte which is a gourmet experience all the time! Drinks? Galore! And, one more thing, I think you get a great service for the price you pay! Thank you, Brisas for being MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

We flew in January 24 and stayed for 7 days. My wife, daughter and her boy friend all came this trip. Another amazing vacation at Brisas. Lots of great food like always love the presentation at the alacartes and many options at the buffet . lots of pop juice water Rum Champagne and seen lots of wine flowing. The resort was beautiful and well maintained as always. I did notice a lot of empty cups laying around some with cigarette butts in them around the pool especially on the beach. I don’t feel this has anything to do with the lack of cleaning from the resort more so lazy guest that can take there own trash to the many garbage cans around the resort. Hot water and water pressure was great early in the morning but found water a little cooler mid afternoon evening time which as an older resort we have found this in the past and has no negative effect to us. To all the amazing employees at Brisas thank you so much for always welcoming my family with open arms you’r smiles and your daily dedication to making sure we have the most relaxing amazing vacation is why we keep returning to Brisas. You all work so hard everyday and we could never thank you enough for making us feel like family.. Can’t wait to see you all again God bless

Eida our Villa house keeper did another wonderful job today. This lady never stops, Eida has been here for us for another wonderful holiday. Our home away from home. No problem with HYDRO, food, entertainment all have been wonderful. Would we return another year, yes.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all really. Not very English oriented very hard communicate ask for pizza get chicken sandwich tips didn’t even help. I had my cellphone stolen from my room one guy guy scammed. It’s not a very safe place. Got charged leaving for a towel maid said wasn’t there when we know for a fact it was 55.00. Air conditioners didn’t work for 3 days didn’t have a fridge for 4 days. So no cold water in room outdated needs paint. But the ocean view was good and beach is nice but have been to better.

I feel as if I have PTSD from this vacation. I brought my mom, aunt and wife and the worst happened. My elderly mother who is 4’9 tried to get out of the shower/tub and shattered her shoulder falling because the tub is at least 3’ high! Keep in mind there was no grab bars for safety. The only good thing was the nurse. Even though she has limited access to medication she looked after my mom every day and made sure she was safe. The trip to the hospital actually made me fear for our safety. The “ ambulance” broke down for 2 hours and the hospital was a cesspool of god knows what. Therefore no one in our party was in the mood to go and do anything so we stayed in and watched CNN as that was the only English Channel and the villas we stayed in had no wifi. The fall happened 4 days in, so here’s a review of the 4 days prior. There were no actual drinks, as in cocktails. All they had was one kind of juice and liquor. Absolutely no pop anywhere on the resort. Therefore ironically we couldn’t enjoy a CUBA Libre!!!! The food was very subpar. In fact I believe that most of the “meat” was spam. Me and my mom went in 2006, then my wife and I went in 2014 then we decided to go back for our anniversary exactly 10 years later. I don’t remember it being so awful back then. Although since then we have travelled almost all of the Caribbean and South America so maybe our standers are higher than before, but I don’t think so, this is at best awful at worst a safety hazard. Also the wonderful nurse gave us a wheelchair but most of the resort isn’t wheelchair accessible. That being said, the staff was very friendly and helpful, it’s not their fault they work in the worst resort in Cuba. I asked my wife to take notes about all the things that were a concern while still staying there so it’s fresh in her memory, here’s what she noted: Hard beds Easy slip off high tub - 3.6 ft high tub Not always hot water 1l water first two days - ask and can get more Spotty internet- some outside villa on pourch Not load large data , games and video apps even in hotel lobby Download lots to watch and find games that don’t need internet Door sticks Not much eatable food Bring cup, drink sanitation’s fews Store limited

Went here in 2017 and returned in 2018. Loved the place and sad you can no longer fly from uk. Met a family who we are still friends with. Visited plantations and their home in Banes. Also visited the fishing village. It’s easily the two best holidays we ever had and the people and area are both beautiful despite how poor they are. Would love to go back if they start flights from UK again.

We just returned from another amazing vacation at Brisas. We were fortunate to experience the 30th anniversary celebration of the hotel. This was the very first anniversary we attended and it did not disappoint!! The weather was not cooperative but the staff adjusted plans and made it absolutely perfect in every way. We also celebrated a few birthdays over our stay and the staff went above and beyond to make our days memorable and special. Food was fantastic, drinks were great and we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. As part if the Anniversary celebrations our friends were invited to renew their vows along with 29 other couples. It was absolutely amazing to witness 30 couples celebrating their love for each other. If you are looking for a destination wedding look no further!!! The decor was stunning… they thought of everything. We are already booked for our next stay and cannot wait to return to Brisas .

I Love Brisas, I have been 10 times and the staff are always amazing and helpful. Arasay is serving me the most delicious beverages tonight in the Havana Club Bar. Amazing selection of things to do and try, and the staff are the reason we keep returning to the same resort.

An incredible place I loved the cleanliness of the areas the gardening is an incredible place and very organized I loved the service and the beach is perfect Customer service is very good, especially in the snack bar, just like in the restaurants, you can feel the human warmth and professionalism of the workers

We had a great time. I have visited this hotel 9 times, but I have not been there since 2013. It was just as fantastic as usual. The room was clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. No, the water pressure wasn't great, but who cares. I don't go on vacation for the shower. The food was good and plenty. Many options to choose from, and many locations to eat, other than the buffet. I would return again and recommend this resort.

We just returned from a two weeks vacation at the Brisas. As usual we were not disappointed, this trip was even better than last April and October (2024) First I would like to thank Raynaldo for giving us a room with a super view Old faces like Robert, Roger And Pedro and Alain who works everywhere. And the new faces who work the Compay bar, the VIP Area Jessica, Thalia, Larrita, Nathalia and Heidi. The returning guest supper by the villa pool was excellent thank you Leidys for your hard work and the dinner at the Cuban a la carte Ayaris, Danini, And Marcellis, and Yazel. As usual the buffet was good, thank you Odalis for for your service. The Snack bar was also very good and Roberto also shined with his Pizza. There was just one thing that was missing was the slush the one thing my grand daughter will miss when we return this September. We enjoyed very much Yoel the Violinist. I would like to thank the gardener Yosvani, and Junior for their very good work, also the beach comber Fidel and Ernesto for keeping the beach clean. I'm also glad to see that more people are bringing some paper money to change the Canadian coin and some good bills. like my two previous trip I returned home with $825.00 in coin and 200.00 in old $5.00 bill that the store and bank wont take. So please look at your bills before you leave for your holyday and bring some spare to change their coins, cause bank don't take coins. Well Brisas see you in September.

Just ending a week here at Brisas. The location is great—nice, clean beach. The staff are attentive and helpful. Food in buffet is exactly what one would expect in a large hotel. Have eaten at International and Seafood restaurants, and meals were excellent. Yes, the hotel is old—approximately 30 years—but the price is good, the people working here are great, and the weather is so much nicer than what I will find back in Canada…

I visited Brisas Guardalavaca in October. I recommended this hotel. People are very friendly specially Yamilet Barrera in the reservation desk for the a la Carta restaurant where she is responsables To make sure that people Enjoy the delicious food at la carta restaurant. Yamilet is well knowledge of providing information where to go in the resort. Very friendly and great attitude at the time.
