파크 호텔 빌라페라타(Park Hotel Villaferrata)

A welcome retreat and first night stay for Rome - staff were really helpful and breakfast was great!

We stayed for one night prior to our flights home. We chose the hotel because of it's relative proximity to Ciampino Airport. We had spent a few days in the middle of Rome and it was nice to get out into the hills surrounding the city. The area around the hotel is mainly residential, but it's a pleasant area. We walked up from Frascati Station which I wouldn't recommend, and the hotel do offer a shuttle service to and from the station. The hotel was bigger than we were expecting and has lots of outside space. We didn't eat at the on site restaurant but wandered down the road to a local restaurant which offered some very nice Italian food, as you'd expect. We did have a drink when we got back to the hotel and they are reasonably priced. The only downsides to our stay were firstly the air conditioning wasn't great in our room, and I woke up at 2am feeling a bit clammy. Only by opening the windows and racking up the air con were we able to get the temperature down. Secondly, we ordered a taxi to the airport via the front desk as it was quite an early flight. The taxi was nearly $10 more expensive than if we'd ordered one from the middle of Rome despite the hotel being only 5 miles from the airport. Overall, I'd fully recommend this hotel for anyone who is planning a trip to Rome but wants to get away from the hurly burly of the city at the end of the day.

The hotel itself is nice and looks like it’s had some updating but not to a very good standard. Still lots of finishing touches to be done. We turned up for breakfast at 9 am and everything was gone even though they serve until 9.30am and we had to ask for some food and bowls etc then had to sit at a dirty table even though we were paying customers. Some Staff (not all) just didn’t care. You definitely need a car here, the taxi booked by the hotel to the airport was very expensive at 60 euros and only took 15 mins, that was to the closest airport I feel we got ripped off. So not happy about that. Would not return.

Old but pleasing place inside a beautiful park. Lot of space and competent staff

Stayed at the hotel after seeing online that it was convenient for Ciampino airport. The grounds were lovely and it was extremely peaceful and quiet. The twin room was a decent size and the wifi was strong. The bathroom did have a smell in it (like an old smell rather than dirty), but had everything we needed. We also had our breakfast included which set us up well for the day. The reception staff helped us to book a taxi to the airport - it did end up taking an hour so make sure you book plenty in advance. This was the main reason we stayed here, but didn’t realize it was so far away. A nice peaceful night’s sleep.

A beautiful little place with really helpful and friendly staff. I was caught a bit by how far it was from Rome, but wasy enough to catch public transport in and there is a shuttle service to and from the train station. Very convenient if you are using the Ciampino airport

We have spent one night here as wedding guests. Positive aspects: lovely background, wonderful location for a wedding (one of the ebst attended), excellent food, magical moments for the newlyweds and guests, nice breakfast and good quality sleep; as for the room: elegant, spacious and comfortable Negative aspects: there are some aspects to renew in the room (mold in the shower) but mostly good choice thats why I have rated 5 stars overall.

Hotel che dispone di un ampio parcheggio esterno e anche di luoghi esterni e interni per ricevimenti o eventi. Le camere non sono ampie, ma pulite e funzionali. Bagno cieco. Colazione buona. Sarebbe gradita un po' di filodiffusione nella zona bar e qualche gioco da tavola o libro per intrattenere gli ospiti. Personale cortese e preparato. Ottima posizione per visitare le zone circostanti.

Ho prenotato 15 camere in questo hotel per amici e familiari in occasione di un evento organizzato in zona. Come per tutte le grosse prenotazioni c'è stata un po' di confusione (nostra) nei mesi precedenti legata ad alcuni ospiti che volevano arrivare prima o partire dopo, e lo staff si è sempre premurato ad assecondare le nostre richieste in maniera celere e dandoci sempre puntuale conferma. Le camere erano tutte belle e accoglienti, arredate con ottimo gusto. La mia in particolare credo fosse una superior, al terzo piano, era molto grande, letto king size, doppio lavandino in bagno, abbondantemente finestrata così da permettere uno splendido panorama sul verde dei Castelli Romani. Ho fatto un giro per qualche altra camera dei miei ospiti e mi sono sembrate tutte ottimamente tenute e accoglienti, alcune dotate di piacevole terrazzino. Bellissimi e ampi anche gli spazi esterni. Ottimo anche l'ampio parcheggio. Cosa non banale, loro sono una location per matrimoni, e nonostante avessero avuto un evento il venerdì e ne avrebbero avuto un altro il sabato, ci hanno permesso di eseguire un piccolo servizio fotografico nel giardino a bordo piscina il sabato mattina senza battere ciglio. Non lo davo per scontato e ho molto apprezzato la loro disponibilità. In generale ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Grazie davvero, sono rimasto molto soddisfatto e ho ricevuto solo complimenti dagli ospiti.
