Alcantara Natura Country House

Our stay at the Alcantara Natura Resort was amazing. The hotel has new owners since 2020 (the reviews I see are from before they owned it) The new owners Tino and Rosalba made our stay an unbelievable experience. In every single way they provided a five star service and quality. The breakfast was delicious and they prepared fantastic three course meals for us every night. Eating dinner there is your choice, if you want to go somewhere else, they don't mind. We are so happy that we ate there every night of our 4 day stay. I don't eat meat so the very creatively prepared dishes with fish, vegetables etc. to accommodate me. Every meal was feast! We immediately felt at home. When we arrived we were tired and hungry....Rosalba immediately made us some nice melted cheese sandwiches that afternoon. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Our room had a beautiful private terrace with outdoor furniture. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The room has a large fridge and Airconditioning if you need it. Every day fresh towels etc. The pool is located conveniently and with a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. The location is very convenient to visit Taormina, the Etna, Catania and the coastal gems. When we first arrived the last part of the road was bit of a challenge but once you've done it, it's no problem. They are in the proces of making the road a bit wider. The already placed mirrors and the hotel was very easy to find due to the clear signs. And all this for a very very reasonable price! I would recommend everyone who is planning to go to this area to stay with Tino and Rosabla.....you arrive as guests and leave as friends. We hope to go back there if we get the chance. P.S. Een steile weg om er te geraken en even onwennig, maar wat een fijn verblijf. Je voelt je meteen welkom en wordt in de watten gelegd door de eigenaars. Een zeer nette kamer met een heel goeie douche. Frigo op de kamer die is gevuld met water, vrij te gebruiken. Airco aanwezig. En uit eten moet je zeker niet doen, want je wordt verwend met zeer lekkere lokale gerechten. HEERLIJK! Eigenaars zijn zo gastvrij, geven je tips en vertellen over de regio. Een aanrader! Echt genoten. Dichtbij te doen: Taormina, Mount Etna, Gole Alcantara en winetasting Murgo.
