We enjoyed our stay at the Looking Glass Beachfront Inn. Brian was a wonderful host, very personable, and made our experience feel very personalized. The location is great, being a short walk away from the beach, providing top-notch parking to walk really anywhere (a little further to downtown, but doable). We loved the view of the water, as well. The refreshments were much appreciated and breakfast and coffee was delicious! We would definitely recommend this B&B to friends and family, and hope to return again in the future.

Wonderful stay and the host was amazing. Breakfast was very good. Bikes were a plus and the ride to the ice cream stand was enjoyable. Overall, a great stay!!! Only suggestion would be to cover the outdoor cushions when not in use.

Just what we needed after a busy day at Michigan’s Adventure with the kids! I found this spot online and it ended up being perfect—close to the beach with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and all the charm we could ask for. It was ideal for winding down after a busy afternoon at the park. The front porch was my favorite—I could’ve sat out there all day. Everything was within walking distance: the beach, restaurants, and the pier. Such a peaceful, convenient getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Brian was the perfect host from start to finish. Lots of common space to relax in and fantastic views of the beach and Lake Michigan sunsets. The room and bath with the large walk in shower were perfect. Super close to a cute town with neat shops and restaurants that also has many seasonal festivals. Definitely recommend staying here.

Breathtaking views of Lake Michigan, an (optional) brand new trolly that transports you up to the Looking Glass Beachfront Inn. Hosts that are kind and communicate well. Clean and welcoming common spaces. The room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Breakfast is made fresh in house each morning, with many options to choose from. I would highly recommend this beautiful place for your next stay!

Stayed 3 nights. Dirty carpets throughout. We saw the host once during our entire visit. We had to text the host asking how to change our towels. There are no guidelines on what guests can access in the kitchen. There were no afternoon refreshments, despite the description on the website. This isn't operated like a B&B, but more like a Hostel.

The Looking Glass Inn has a wonderful beach front view of Lake Michigan, the sunset very day was amazing. Brian made our stay comfortable with a nice breakfast, and advice on local places to eat and shop. Hopefully someday we can visit again, and we definitely recommend this as a must visit.
