오베르지 미코(Auberge Miko)

Located in a quiet residential area only a few minutes walk from the coastal road, restaurants, shops etc. About a 15min walk to a very large supermarket (Super U) which stocks everything you could need. The owner Vivek is friendly and very helpful to address any needs you may have. My apar**ent was spacious and clean. Everything worked fine. Lighting was good. Decent size balcony with table & chairs to sit & relax. My bed had clean linens & afforded me a comfortable sleep. The bathroom had a segregated shower recess. Hot water kicked in after a few minutes with decent water pressure. Overall, I enjoyed a comfortable stay here.

As I only arrived at 10 in the evening and had to leave already at 7:30 next morning, I cannot really evaluate. Lena and Vivek are very kind and guest oriented. Many thanks also for arranging for both transfers.

Without doubt the best place to stay in Grand Baie. The hosts (Lena and Vivek) are geniunely nice and warm people, with great great knowledge about what to do and see in the area. They also speak swedish (as well as english and french), which was great for us as norwegians. The location is perfect, nice and quiet street, but still less than 5 minutes of walking to the beach, dive sites, restaurants etc. Nice studio appar**ent with kitchen and AC. The rooms are cleaned every day by the housekeeper. Free (fast) wifi. The guesthouse can send a driver to the airport if you call them in advance, which is much cheaper than a taxi (and a very nice guy!). We were really pleased with our stay and can definitely recommend it to anyone travelling in Mauritius.

We stayed here for two weeks in 2 bedrooms apar**ents. First, I would like to thank the hosts - Lena, Vivek, and Chilie :) - for their hospitality and help, especially on our first days in Mauritius. Only here the host will ride a bike in the evening to get you food.

A big thanks to Lena and Vivek for their hospitality during my 5 nights stay over there. They really make sure that everything is running properly. Also, they give tips to more around the area. The accommodation itself is good, you have everything you need and you can talk with Lena and Vivek in case you need something. I will be back in case I am again in Mauritius.

J"ai passé un séjour formidable de 20 jours à l'Auberge Miko. Les patrons, Lena et Vivek sont des gens merveilleux. Leur accueil chaleureux, leurs conseils, leur disponibilité, leur gentillesse, sont exceptionnels. Les chambres sont vastes, confortables, très propres, avec un coin cuisine très bien équipé et une très agréable terrasse donnant sur le jardin fleuri de l'Hotel. Très bon Wifi. Agréable salon extérieur dans la cour de l'Auberge , où l'on retrouve Chilli, leur adorable petite chienne. L'emplacement est excellent, dans un quartier très calme et à 200 mètres de la plage et des restaurants , bars, commerces. Merci Lena, merci Vivek

Séjour très agréable à l’auberge Miko en grande partie grâce aux propriétaires Lena et Vivek qui sont tout aussi charmants que l’appartement dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Nous avons apprécié le calme de l’endroit et la proximité avec le centre ville et les commerces, restaurants… Je recommande vivement !
