Dodgy, Dingy Rm 112 It was a real letdown from our previous hotels when we walked on the soiled carpeted hallway. The opened door revealed a darkly decorated camp prison minus the bars. Our beds were so low to the ground we thought we were given a children's room by mistake. but were too weary to return to the desk to protest and thought we would make the best of it. The room appeared to be clean. The beds held more unpleasant surprises for us. My sister's bed had a badly scratched headboard indicative of a struggle or foreplay. The mattresses were part of the prison decor, being horribly uncomfortable- like sleeping on a stone ledge. My hips felt like they needed surgery to relieve the ache but my ribcage fared no better when I tried to reposition myself. My younger sister could hardly get out of be as she hurt so badly. The breakfast was good. I suggest you refurbish the room and MATTRESSES before you torture other guests; better yet, make management spend the night in there!
