Surfpoint Resort

Surf Point Resort is an excellent and welcoming place to stay, whether an individual, couple, family, or a large group, and, happy to report, is sensibly and affordably priced. We were greeted with of a large spray of kangaroo paws and saltbush in a vase in our room, from the resort gardens. Such a lovely touch. Love the room decor and banksia theme, the high ceilings, and the gardens in front of all the rooms. Pride and care are obvious throughout, from the clean rooms, with garden outlooks, the clean shared amenities, to the well-kept gardens and lawns. Nic, the manager, is wonderfully helpful and very pleasant in her approach. We had to call upon her after hours, but she attended our needs most pleasantly, even though her evening was interrupted. The shared facilities of a large lounge space (with a heater for cosy winter getaways), pleasant, shared dining room, and well-equipped shared communal kitchen, are all lovely big, neat, clean spaces, with a lovely outlook over the pool and trees beyond. Located just a short drive from Margaret River, Cowaramup, Witchcliffe, and local attractions, Surf Point Resort is a great coastal place to base yourself while you explore the surrounds or simply relax at the comfortable resort. I am looking forward to my next stay here. Thank you Nic for making it such a pleasant stay for my birthday long weekend.

Resort was relaxed, comfortable and very clean. Lovely atmosphere and amenities. we had a swim in the pool which was welcome after a hot day exploring Margaret River. The kitchen was superb, everything you need. I would happily come back again,

Surfpoint close to beaches and Margaret River tourist attractions. Nic is such a warm welcoming host who makes sure all needs are met. Place has a great habitat garden and communal spaces. Beds super comfy, ensuite bathroom clean and excellent water pressure - instant hot, laundry free use of. Shared kitchen and dining facilities always clean - fantastic to cook in and dining room and lounge great to chat and meet people from all walks of life. Fire set and ready to light these winter nights. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Our group of 13 stayed in "glamping tents" for 8 nights, as part of the Cape to Cape Explorers tour run by Gene. Wonderful experience, led by Nikki & her team at Surfpoint Resort, and Gene & his brilliant team of leaders and staff from Cape to Cape Explorers. Well organised, fully functional crew. Great fun was had by all.

The Management were just great. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful. After a lifetime in hospitality, my measure of a very good place to stay is the state of the toilets/bathroom. The toilets and showers here are spotless. Always filled with eco friendly body wash , hand towels and totally spotless. All staff very friendly and the resort is close to everything. Must add that usually sharing common facilities is not ideal EXCEPT for this resort. I always used the shared showers and toilet and our family always wanted to eat in the kitchen/dining area. The soothing, calming voice of Nic each day as she welcomed us back from the long Cape to Cape walk; and the encouraging farewell each morning as we headed off each day spoke volumes of the care and attention given for the whole duration of our stay. You won’t want to leave! Can’t wait to come back. Such a vital part of the Cape to Cape experience - I highly recommend Surfpoint Resort.
