Saucy Mary's Hostel

The room was a twin room on both beds there were several ***** and stains. There were also two seats which were also covered in stains. The walls were covered in cobwebs we slept all night with our clothes on as did not feel the room was clean enough to go to bed in our pjs we slept on our towels we brought with us. we didn’t want to come into contact with the stains and *****. Paid £109 for the room, if you are reading this review I would stay somewhere else. I have stayed at youth hostels before but this place was scruffy. To top all of this off we opened our door to go to the toilet down the hall and the biggest spider I’ve ever seen bounded into our room which made the two of us to hurry to our car at 7 in the morning

It’s ok is the easiest way to explain it. Our room was a twin bunk bed room. Small but clean. Our key opened a private toilet and a private shower room down the corridor which was not ideal, but much better than sharing these with other rooms. No TV, free WiFi, no kettle but there is a kettle in the kitchen/reception area which had free coffee sachets, tea, milk and sugar. For Skye it was well priced £110 for the night at the end of July, but certainly not cheap (that’s the Isle of Skye premium I guess) given we paid £50 the night before for a travelodge room. Not sure of if I would stay again but it suited our purposes for this trip.

The Worst Hostel in UK. Staff is rude and unpleasant. Only a Microwave and a Toaster in here. Nobody can cook a proper Meal on a Microwave and Toaster. They want yu too go in the Overpriced Restaurant they own too. Over there also rude Staff. Was freezing and dirty. AVOID IT !

Provides excellent service from charming staff, who are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Next door to a good restaurant which serves delicious fish. As a wheelchair user I found them unusually supportive and sensitive to my needs. The location is stunning and rooms are comfortable and well decorated. Pleasant communal space with free hot drinks, and a breath taking view of panoramic views.

8/10. Everything was good. Hot water and clean washroom. Comfy and clean beds, only chairs in room were bit dirty. Friendly staff. View was amazing. Free Parking available. Easy to find, good location. I like the overall experience

Excellent Accommodation. We went very late 11pm, they explained us everything by phone and leave the keys in a safe place. The restaurant make wonderful coffee, the romms we rent a double twin my husband and I and rest very well. They got hot water, good pillows, enough space, everything was very clean, few details soap, shampoo, coffee and milk, tea ( We love it) Good WIFI and the best part the view in from of the hotel. I WILL STAY AGAIN. Thanks to Laura in reception for the support. Make feel that I want to come back to Skye.
