Cheap and best for short stay

Terribly overprieced for the service and facility.. I mean, i paid 153 pound for two nights for such a tiny single bed room without toilet and shower.. I really do understand why Air Bnb is such a thing when you stay in placed like this. You need to lower your price for real ! The only good point is the localisation nearby Kelvinbridge Subway.

Left with bed bug bites all up my leg! Used freedom of information legislation to find out the council had previously been involved and had a report of beg bug infestation in one of the rooms, obviously not properly dealt with because my room was clearly infested!

Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, and walking distance to the university and other things. If you’re visiting in the winter, it may get cold at night. The heaters turned off overnight both nights we stayed there and turned back on at 7 a.m. exactly. I was assured they do not turn off overnight, so maybe it was the specific room we stayed in, but they most definitely did turn off and we were all very cold.

Basic but for the price couldn’t complain, ceiling hanging down a bit , no fridge or anything room was cold despite heater being on

Shocking! On arrival we could see the property was run down and it smelled.Health & safety hazard. Our room was in basement and smelled of dampness. There was a hole in wall and our view was a wall extremely close to window. Blind was hanging off. Furniture old and worn, Has not been painted in years. Beds made of chipboard. Carpets were loose and worn and tripping hazard. We asked for a refund or else we would give an honest ( bad) review. They chose latter. We checked out and booked into another hotel! This place should be closed down. We have never complained about anything like this before, but feel so strongly and disappointed, we had to write this review.

Room was freezing cold, had to use the duvet from the other bed on top of the duvet already on the bed, tried to put the radiator on and it didn’t come on until early hours of the morning, there were exposed carpet grippers around the edge of the room, which is dangerous. And the key for the room is the same key for the front door so every room has the same key?! Doesn’t make you feel safe at all! The bathroom had a very strange and ominous looking rope hanging from the ceiling, like something from a horror film.
