It’s a magical place, from the moment you press the buzzer at the gate to announce your arrival, then wait for the electric gates to slowly welcome you to the beautiful drive through the grounds to the castle at the top of the hill, where staff are waiting at the entrance to take your bags and park your car. Service and attention to every detail are above and beyond. Beautiful floral arrangements meet you in every room. The food is outstanding, and cocktails And canapés before dinner are exquisite. We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world , and Glenapp is right on the top of our list

From the start to finish - what an experience - each and everyone at the castle were so lovely. Everyone so friendly. I can highly recommend anyone to go and have timeout here. We chose the 7 course starter menu which was great - trying food if not normally do.

My goodness, we saw this place on the TV feature, and would like to go. Terrific, in every sense . ALL, the staff, genuine welcoming, food great, Castle and suites, superb. Spotlessly clean throught. Must have spent a fortune on this place, and it shows. We stayed 3 nights, could have stayed for a week.

Fabulous hotel. We were upgraded to Ailsa Suite. We also had 7 course taster dinner. Personalised to our tastes. Breakfast was served at the table. No buffet style which I prefer. Staff were kind and attentive. Overall our stay was wonderful. We had a walk around the gardens and the Azalea Restaurant. Simply beautiful.

We have written quite a few TripAdvisor reviews, and are of the belief if you nothing good to say, don’t say it (hence many hotels never get a review). Writing a review for Glenapp Castle is an easy thing to do. There are a few things you might consider as standard for a Scottish Castle such as sea views, magnificent scenery, excellent grounds, and Glenapp has all of it in abundance. It is deservedly a 5 Star hotel, and everything you would expect on terms of quality and comfort, it is all there. What makes this amazing hotel stand out from all the rest is it’s people. Staff greet you with a big smile, and that smile never changes. Everyone, from the ‘meet and greet’ at the front door, to those hard working young folks in the dining room, to the gardeners outside in the grounds, all have that smile, all have that welcome, all take time for you. It is a perfect case study in personal service, at a level we certainly haven’t encountered before. Would we recommend Glenapp Castle? In a heartbeat. Will we go back? Absolutely.

An absolutely amazing stay. The Castle itself is stunning and the grounds are just magical worth a nice long walk. Room was so spacious and elegant, bed very comfortable. Food was fantastic and as for the staff we have never met so many genuine nice people in the one place. They were all so friendly and helpful. We had the best experience at Glenapp and it is well worth a visit.

Absolutely wonderful place. Amazing staff, fabulous food (seriously good kitchen team) and so relaxing. Felt very spoilt. The weather was not kind to us but it didn’t matter as the grounds and the hotel were lovely. From our greeting when we arrived to the farewell when we left we felt special - go and stay - you won’t regret it

The perfect stay on the countryside on the Westcoast of Scotland! Beautiful interior, fantastic gardens and landscape around, very good food, interesting activities and fantastic staff! We really wouldn't leave the Castle for a minute of our stay. It's sure that we will come back.
