Outdated, tired with no more than 3star hotel amenities,service, and equipment in the rooms.TV didn't work properly, no restaurant in the hotel,,no kettle to make a cup of tea in a room Basic breakfast with not much choice and unpleasant girl Angela with not much of customer service skills.Would only recommended for max one stay if you stuck.The reception stuff are very nice ,went out of the way to sort the problems and make our stay bit more comfortable. Excellent location directly on the lake. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms. I am satisfied.

We stayed for 2 nights on the 4th floor in a large room with two sets of doors opening to spectacular views of the lake. A side window also opens to the mountains and beyond. Room well appointed, bed very comfortable and bathroom clean and fresh. The breakfast is excellent and more than an adequate way to start any day. The front reception staff went over and above superior service and overall our stay was an enjoyable and memorable experience. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Location excellent...very quiet rooms and very convenient for Pallanza facilities and boat station. Reception greeting and service at the front desk excellent. Breakfast ok...typical of the area. Main issue is with the Hotel fabric...it is need of a refurbishment....all starting to look a little dated. Decent value but it could be so much better with a facelift.

We wanted to finish our trip through Italy with a nice and luxurious place, so we booked this 4 star hotel. It turned out to be the worst one we had. You can tell this once was a place filled with luxury, but unfortunately that was something from the past. The hotel is definitely in need of renovation. The rooms are old and outdated. Not classic in a charming way, but things are just broken down and worn off. The mattress was really sagging what gave us the feeling of rolling out of bed. The minibar isn't being refilled and the bathroom was a bit smudgy. Don't be fooled by their website. They won't let you choose a scent and you want get a pillow menu by entering the hotel. By addressing the sagging mattress the solution was to turn it around, since there wasn't really a problem according to them. At the breakfast there was a lot to choose from. Not very fresh and not of a good quality but the variety was really nice. If you order coffee or cappuccino they will make you a really good one. The coffee was for sure the best thing of the hotel! Also most of the people working at the hotel were really nice and friendly as well. Especially the two men at the breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect. We booked a room on the lake side. The view was stunning, this is a great benefit as well.

We are totally in love with the beautiful majestic Pallanza hotel. Very smartly designed with friendly, always ready-to-help, smilling staff. Nicely organized rooms with huge bathroom, comfortable beds, pleasant fragrance everywhere. We had a lake view and we could not get enough of widely opened windows with marvelous views of the lake and the sound of the water splashes. We have also visited the restaurant at the hotel and we were very satisfied with the service, with the food and the drinks. The prices are the same like in the whole area. The hotel guests have a 10% discount. All in all the hotel is a nicely situated as it is at the lake bank, so you can enjoy the views, near the boat embarkment area, 2 minutes by foot, the city square where there are a lot of restaurants, shops, but also the hotel is in the quiet area, so nothing will disturb your sleep. And the hotel has a dedicated parking space too. Unfortunately it is not possible to reserve a car space beforehand but we were lucky to have it. It is 5 minutes walk, in the next street. We very recommend this hotel.
