One of the best places to stay in this sector. This is a Swiss Tent accommodation. The tents were put up pre-covid and it was all still new. The view from the place is awesome with snow covered peaks on one side, the river Jaladri flowing RIGHT BEHIND the tents and the enjoyable sound can be heard all the time. On one side is a beautiful walking/trekking path that goes all the way to Chitkul (7 days trek). The Bagori village is on the other side hardly 300 meters away and we took some walks on both sides on different days. We had a lot of fun near the river too and the water was super icy cold. We drank the river water and it was far better than mineral water as it was so pure. The tent and bed were good. Hot water for bathing is provided in a bucket on request. Food was very good and freshly prepared Currently we need to walk some distance from car park to reach but it is a nice walk – and you cross 3 river bridges in a span of 400m. The approach area is being renovated and will be better next time. Vehicle has to park in car park and bags are brought by the staff in a two wheeler Nearby are two confluences. CONFLUENCE OF Bhagirathi with Jalladri and with Kakora …also called Sian Gad if I am right. A special note of thanks. Thanks to Manager Vivek and his team of people who served us. My son was a little unwell and we needed a particular food ingredient. The boys there went and procured the same for us despite the fact that it was a bit late.
