Great choice, in a beautiful place! Everything was great. Big rooms!

Horrible place. The pigeons had free access to the breakfast which contained old bread dressed up with tomatoes or cream to disguise the stale taste. Locks didn’t work so we didn’t have access to our room for two hours. Hopelessly slow and inefficient staff delayed the process getting to the room. No refund offered even we pointed out we missed our excursion that day.

This hotel, nestled in the heart of the old town, proved to be a delightful choice for our stay. The location allowed us easy access to explore the charming surroundings and immerse ourselves in the historical atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find that the hotel was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The rooms were nice and cozy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff deserves special praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. From the warm welcome at check-in to their willingness to assist with any queries, they made us feel valued and cared for throughout our visit. The breakfast served at the hotel was a highlight of our mornings. A variety of delicious options awaited us, and we enjoyed starting our day on the breakfast terrace, basking in the fresh air and lovely views. All in all, our stay at this hotel was a delightful experience. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast made it a memorable trip. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and convenient stay in the heart of the old town.

Posto bellissimo, servizio impeccabile. Appena arrivati abbiamo usufruito del servizio transfer gratuito messo a disposizione, dal parcheggio del porto, fino all’hotel. Idem per il check-out, ci hanno ri accompagnati al parcheggio. La camera era spaziosa, molto elegante e ho particolarmente apprezzato la presenza del set bagnoschiuma -shampoo- balsamo in doccia❤️ La posizione del palazzo è strategica, situata al centro della città. Ho trovato buonissima la colazione, molto abbondante e presentata benissimo. Personale super cordiale e amichevole, speriamo di tornarci presto !❤️🩵

Das Label "Luxury Hotels Gallipoli" mit den beschönigenden, super gut gemachten Fotos auf der Hotel-Webseite, sowie die meist sehr positiven Bewertungen auf den gängigen Buchungsplattformen liessen unsere Erwartungen deutlich höher ausfallen, als was diese Herberge erfüllen könnte. Im ganzen Haus ist von Luxus nichts anzutreffen - auch nicht in den sog. Deluxe-Zimmern. Die Möblierung ist sehr einfach gehalten, recht in die Jahre gekommen und macht einen eher kühlen Eindruck (das kann ja bei hochsommerlicher Hitze noch ganz vorteilhaft sein). Zu beachten: Alle Zimmer sind unterschiedlich im Layout. Dabei sind die besagten Deluxe-Räume z.T. auch für Familien geeignet und über 2 Niveaus ausgelegt, somit recht geräumig. Wegen des verwinkelten, zwischen den Altstadt-Gassen eingezwängten Gebäudes haben einige nur wenig bis keine Aussicht. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die zentrale Lage im malerischen Zentrum des Altstädtchens, und die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das uns auch unkompliziert einen Zimmerwechsel ermöglichte. Das Frühstück wurde - trotz sommerlichen Wetters im September - in einem engen Raum im EG serviert (nichts mit Dachterrasse!). Für mitteleuropäische Verhältnisse war das Angebot eher spärlich, aber wir haben uns an Früchten, Gebäck, frischer Mozzarella usw. durchaus auch erfreuen können. Grösster Nachteil war für unser Empfinden die Lärmbeeinträchtigung duch alles, was sich im Haus bewegte: Zimmernachbarn, Putzpersonal usw. Darum: nicht zu viel vom Hotel erwarten und sich an der zauberhaften Atmosphäre Gallipolis erfreuen!
