Francoise Hotel

The hotel is located in Galissas which is 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach and a few restaurants. Keep in mind this is a very quiet and relaxing area there's not much to do. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was enough. The hotel is family owned and they are courteous and very helpful. Very clean and lobby always smelled so nice. Breakfast buffet included was perfect. They had boiled and fried eggs, cooked ham, sausage, fruits, yogurt, cereal, cake, bread, cheese and so on. The pool very pretty with long chairs and umbrellas. The room is not large however had a large balcony. The bed was not to my liking and the shower was tiny. If you are a larger person, you certainly won't enjoy it. But overall it's a nice place. There's the city bus literally outside the entrance for 1.60eur a person and you can go visit Ermoupoli which is the main city (near the port) and its about a 45 minute ride including a few stops.

This is a fantastic place to stay family owned.very clean friendly people ideal spot close to the beach I can not recommend this hotel enough small pool but big enough lovely breakfast you will not be disappointed.Rooms are cleaned daily fresh sheets and towels .Bus stop close to hotel

Great little family run hotel. The pool is the star of the show with sun loungers and tables and chairs for breakfast around. Room was a wee bit tired but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed although the shower was very small. Breakfast was great and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Good location, very quiet and bus stop right outside. Fabulous value for money.

The family that runs and owns this hotel is outstanding. The staff amazing. I’m not sure how much I can rave about our exceptional experience here. From Day 1 to the last, Hotel Francaise exceeded our expectations. Thank you Taso and family.

The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was basic but fresh and plentiful. The rooms are nice but bathrooms a are very small. Great location in Galissas. Some amazing restaurants nearby. Love this Island!

We stayed her for 2 nights and it was a lovely stay. The breakfast didn’t have a huge variety but as we were travelling as a group of 14 we were the only visitors and it is also the beginning of the season. What was there was tasty and a good start to the day. We had a huge balcony which was lovely to sit out on at any point of the day. There was also a washing line and pegs which was a great asset. Overall a lovely stay on the island.

An excellent hotel with delightful friendly hosts. Nice pool area and all was very clean Lovely big balconies to rooms which had small clotheslines. Great for families. Excellent breakfast Hairdryers in room.

We were made to feel really welcome in this comfortable hotels; we felt from the moment we arrived that the staff really wanted us to be there. Everything is spotless and very well maintained. Our room (while not enormous) was quite large enough and had a balcony overlooking the surrounding hills. Breakfast was generous and varied, served on a terrace adjacent to the pool. The pool itself was quite large for a hotel of this size, with very comfortable and shady loungers. But the stand-out feature is the hotel location, in the sleepy hamlet of Galissas. 5 minutes’ leisurely strolling takes you to a cluster of excellent restaurants and cafés, and beyond that is one of the most beautiful, unspoilt, sheltered sandy beaches on the island.

Stayed here for 2 nights, hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms looked recently decorated. Room not huge and shower definitely beju but nice balcony with view over village and hills. Good choice for breakfast and nice outside seating area. Pool not big but good for cooling off. Village itself is small with only a handful of places to eat and not close to anywhere else. Beach was ok, a few sunbeds and sandy beach but there are better ones further along coast. Overall a pleasant stay for a couple of days
