Masseria Mo'

My partner and I had the privilege of staying at Masseria Mo for a few nights and can only describe our stay as an unforgettable luxury experience, one which we can't wait to do again, as soon as we can. From discovering the property online and initial communications with Michael (the owner) it was clear that this was going to be a 5 star experience. Michael helped us with the necessary planning and logistics as we fast-trained to Bari, then picked up a hire car to arrive at the most stunning property in the region. The grounds were perfectly kept, the pool glistening in the afternoon sun, and the Villa itself a work of art. Modern yet still retaining rustic elements such as the original stone arched ceilings, which are characteristic of the region. The photos don't do justice to how luxurious the rooms really are. Waking up to a breakfast composed of an array of beautiful dishes, such as organic tomatoes and burrata, drizzled with local olive oil and basil. Or freshly made vegetable frittata from ingredients grown on the farm itself, was an incredible way to start the day. With its central location, it's an easy drive west to coastal towns like Gallipoli which overlook the gorgeous Ionian sea, or to the east coast to visit charming beachside towns such as Otranto, all with endless views across the Adriatic. Armed with a list of great recommendations from the wonderful team at Mo, we enjoyed amazing local cuisine, and delicacies across the region, not to mention sampling some amazing wines that Puglia has to offer. At the end of each days adventure, we looked forward to coming home to the peace and tranquility offered at Masseria Mo, reflecting on the days experiences over a glass of prosecco or two. At the end of our stay it was hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful place, people and location. We will definitely be back again and can't recommend this accomodation highly enough!
