Travelodge Gainsborough

No soap in the shower dispenser and shower water drained so slowly the water overflowed the shower tray and flooded the bathroom floor.

Arrived at check-in. All good and room sorted. I forgot my hanger clothes in reception but Anne knocked on the door 5 minutes later holding them. What service is that! Room was spotless, courtesy of Shania in housekeeping. Travelodge have come a long way since I stayed in one many years ago. If Gainsborough one is anything to judge, then I am very happy to book more in the future. Lovely smiling and approachable staff. Just what the doctor ordered.

Travelodge have a lot more variation between the standards at their hotels when compared with, say, Premier Inn who are very consistent across all their hotels. Well, this one is a good Travelodge. Really smart with good sized rooms, clean and it only cost me £68. The man on reception was very helpful and chatty when I checked in. I wasn't too excited about breakfast boxes instead of a cooked breakfast, but the box was actually pretty good.

Excellent service staff member Rob couldn't do enough for me went above and beyond for us was really helpful with anything we needed

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No noise. Stayed over to see family and friends. Would definitely recommend. You do have to pay and display in the car park at certain times

I love this hotel , the staff makes it special ,specially Katie and Ana. Very clean hotel is always spotless. Staff always very helpful. Always quiet and good nice sleep. Thank you 😊
