We stayed here for a week in May 2025 and it was fantastic. The property is absolutely beautiful. It feels like a secluded jungle but it is only a short walk from supermarkets, restaurants and most of the attractions of Furnas (which is a beautiful town). Our house (Casa do Granel) had everything we needed and was stylishly designed. I didn't see this mentioned in the description or in the pictures but the house had a bathtub, not just a shower, which is always something I appreciate while traveling. The jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath was very nice, as were the friendly cats and ducks around the property. Thanks to Luisa, Abel, Luis, Pamela and all the staff whose names I unfortunately can't remember for their excellent hospitality. Hope we have the opportunity to come back someday.

Loved our stay here. Absolutely beautiful property. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious every morning with a stunning view. Accommodations was spacious and clean. Property was a close walk to many restaurants, a hot spring, and hikes. Would highly recommend staying here.

Absolute highlight of our trip to Furnas!! The quinta could not be in a better location. You are in walking distance to some of the best attractions and food! The staff was absolutely incredible and accomadating. Pamela was the best - she made you feel at home! She greeted us every morning with an incredible homemade breakfast. She also helped us check in early. I can’t say enough about this place! I should also mention I accidentally left my hair dryer there. The owners went above and beyond to get it back to me! I cannot say enough about their hospitality, kindness, and service!!

Paradise in the Earth! We stayed in the Historical house with my family for 5 nights. The place is in the green oasis surrounded by mountains. The facilities are just wonderful, clean and accompanied by excellent service. The owners are extremely hospitable and friendly. Right at the beginning we received plenty of valuable tips and advises. Every single corner of this vast tropical garden is most charming. We took a boat ride on the creek, hot bath in the crystal clear 40dg jacuzzi and sauna sessions in the bamboo forest. We were even able to make our own bbq by the creek. My favorite place was the breakfast place - the garden house beautifully incorporated in the rocks and exotic scenery of the creek. Sincerely hope to be able to come back to this marvel of Sao Miguel one day, obrigada 💚

This place is top notch. Beautiful environment, superb service, and friendly, helpful staff. From the no hassles early check in to the engagement with the manager Luis, to the individual breakfasts prepared by Pamela to the quick, quiet housekeeping, Quinta da Mo is a must for any visit to São Miguel. From check in to check out, Quinta Da Mo was magic! Luis was there to greet us, tour the property and give us so much information on the island and what to do etc. We stayed in the main yellow house (2 adults and our four kids) and every moment of our stay was perfect. we used the amenities, the sauna, hot tub, Turkish bath, lounge area and I cooked most of our meals at the house both inside in the kitchen and in the outdoor kitchen where we lit a fire in the brick oven and grilled local steaks and veggies. The bamboo walkway greeted us every morning as we met Pamela in the lounge area daily for the delicious breakfast that was included. The table was set with chocolate milk and fresh orange juice for the kids and Pamela made us cappuccinos, Americans, espressos to order. Breakfast included fresh eggs, various fresh rolls, egg custards, fresh island fruit, bacon and a cheese plate. It was a serene way to start our day. Paola tidied up daily and was so helpful if we needed more towels etc. The owners checked in twice and are truly invested in your happiness!
