We just spent an absolutely amazing wedding weekend with the bride and groom and our families and friends. Everything was to perfection! The food was incredible, the staff was amazing and the accommodations were absolutely perfect! We were sorry the weekend had to end! Thank you for our wonderful stay at your amazing property! Simply amazing! Our daughter's wedding was in October and the atmosphere, food, rooms, venue, and the staff; AMAZING! Above and beyond attentive to the brides, families and all the children. Our stay was 2 1/2 days and nothing was missed or wanted. The lodge where we stayed was comforting and the request for food was gluten free and the kitchen nailed it! The venue is breathtaking! A hidden gem for sure! The bar keepers and hosts were always around the corner to answer all needs. Our Wedding Planner, Kathy...ROCKSTAR! Honestly, we highly recommend this venue for events and restaurant. Thank you to all for making our family wedding over the top!

The most GORGEOUS property with very welcoming host! The breakfast was tasty and accommodating with allergy and diet restrictions. I loved walking around and exploring the property most of all. My husband and I will most definitely be back.

Saco Inn is beautiful, a gem hidden in the forest. The accommodations are comfortable and clean, the buildings show real craftsmanship. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, kudos to the baker and chef! The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful inn, wonderful innkeeper Bruce! He made the most amazing breakfasts. Very laid back and restful experience. He gave us ideas for great food in Portland. Maine lobster and steamers were delicious at the Port Hole.

I would give this place 50 stars if I could. I stayed at The Old Saco last weekend for a friend's wedding and it was PERFECTION. The property is stunning, with plenty of New England charm. Comfy beds & pillows, very cute balconies, just darling. The river & kayaks are amazing, the field is huge, plenty of room to run around or star gaze at night. The food was excellent - we had 4 meals throughout our stay and everything was delicious. What really makes this stay incredible was the staff. Tyler went out of his way to ensure that my friends wedding weekend was perfect. He was so friendly and accommodating, and even closed up late on the night of the wedding just for us. Tyler was the VIP of the weekend - truly a gem! Cathy was also fabulous - she made check-in so easy and was always available to assist with whatever questions we had. The bartenders were so fun and really made the weekend special. There was a female bartender whose name may have been Annabell? I feel bad for forgetting but she was the best!!! The service was second to none, and it really made the weekend! Thank you for an unforgettable trip!
