Nice, unique and very clean cabins. We stayed at the "Interlaken" cabin with a beautiful view of the trees, pond where all the ducks, birds, cats and so many different birds played. Cozy rocking chairs, all with the Swiss charm. Sitting outside at the porch in the morning or late evening was a blessing and so relaxing. "The club" offers a variety of food, beers and wine and live music while you dine.

My wife and I have been visiting Fredericksburg for a few years now - usually twice a year. We’ve stayed in numerous places and we keep coming back to Barons Creekside. In fact, I doubt we will try anywhere else moving forward. The term “cabin” is often used loosely and for me it means a real log cabin experience as opposed to a modified spec home or manufactured house. These cabins are the real deal! They are incredibly well stocked and decorated and you just feel like you’ve stepped back in time but still have the modern amenities. Even better is the fact the privacy is always top notch the way the cabins have been laid out on the property. And having a restaurant/bar on site with live entertainment is a great option (and isn’t too loud if you want quiet in your cabin). The location is super close to town but far enough out for peace and quiet. Daniel, Deborah and Simon are great (Swiss!) hosts too and make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place and will keep returning as often as we can!

We always stay at Baron's Creekside. Daniel and Deborah have thought of almost everything you would need in a great place to stay. We recommend the cabins for relaxation and quiet with the presence of a stream, ducks and sometimes deer. If you just enjoy relaxing, the front porch is great. You could fix your own meals, but the food in Fredericksburg is outstanding. The location is close to downtown and convenient to many of the wineries.

Second trip to Barons Creekside, again a restful and quiet experience. Minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, but seems like miles away from everything. Cabin was clean and comfortable, everything needed was in place. Views of the creek from the porch were relaxing in the evening. We'll be back!

OMG!! What an AMAZING & FREEING experience we had this past week! We stayed in the Wagon & it was so beautiful & spacious! Although I was a bit hesitant at first, it was safe and I can’t wait to go back!! Thank you again Daniel & Deborah for making my birthday celebration memorable!!

What an amazing experience. We stayed for one night only, but I wished it was more. We stayed in the Lucerne cabin and it was beautiful, very well appointed, has a fire place, kitchenette, jacuzzi . You can sit in beautiful rocking chairs on the porch, hear the water, the birds and see the ducks walking by. It was truly a wonderful experience!!!

Our family of four really enjoyed being on the property! We rented the Victorian cottage which was very roomy and well-equipped, while still being very authentic. We arrived late, but Micaleh was very welcoming at the Club where we collected our key. Comfy beds and beautiful hill country surroundings. Enjoyed walking the property, and visiting the resident ducks and cats! Close to town, and all round easy and fun. Enjoyed Saturday night dinner and band at the club!

Really fun little place! Interesting Swiss details in the cabin (Rhine Falls) that kept us looking around and constantly discovering new things! Super comfortable and fully equipped too. Coffee on the beautiful porch, bidet on the potty (!), comfy king size bed and jetted tub in the bedroom! We loved how it felt so interesting and personal…not your typical stark hotel room. 22 years married - perfect anniversary!

This was our 13th visit to this peaceful and romantic place. The owners are fantastic hosts, and all personnel are helpful and friendly. The cabins of which we have visited 6 different are a piece of art in themselves. Rustic, cozy and well-functioning. We can highly recommend this place.
