호텔 림페라트리스(Hotel l'Imperatrice)

When I saw the pictures of the Hotel L'Imperatrice, it was imperative that we stay there. The atmosphere inside is charming and tropical, as if you are staying there during the colonial period. The decor is, I believe, different in each room. All having to do with the history of Martinique and its people. We had two rooms, going and coming from a week's cruise. and each was different. Excellent location, across from the Savanne Park which is lovely. Down the street is the bay and docks. Restaurants and stores are nearby, even a Haagen-Dazs, Local hang-out! We found the staff to be hard-working and friendly. Christina at the lobby desk was so helpful and always professional and cordial to all. Edwin was great helping us. and the room attendants took care of our rooms very nicely. We would love to return some day! Thanks to all! (free breakfast until 9 a.m. offered juices, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, small croissants and breads, eggs, ham and cheese and yogurt, etc.)

Supernice hotel! Friendly staff, nice room, clean and fresh. Good breakfast available. The hotel is situated perfectly downtown with lots of restaurants around. Also close to the pier. We stayed 2 nights before a 2 weeks sailing trip i the Caribbean.

Nice hotel located near the harbour and beach. Close to shops and restaurants. The place itself was a little shabby but it was charming. Elevator. Nice rooftop terraces.

The elevator was much too small. It can fit maybe three people in it. And there is only one elevator. This is an old quaint hotel.

You really can’t beat the quality for the price. Our room was clean and comfortable. The service was good but the restaurant is only available for lunch (online indicates dinner). The location was prime, with a coffee/breakfast stand across the street that opens at 6:30am.

Nice views from the terrace. Staff are helpful. Hot water is so so.

I spent a couple of nights at this hotel earlier in the year. The location is excellent. Right on the savanna, close to shops, restaurants and the fort. Walking distance to both the international ferry and domestic boats. The room was pretty small. Not much space for anything other than the bed. Nice balcony overlooking the aforementioned savanna. Reception staff spoke English, as did the friendly lady running the cafe/bar in the daytime. Communication was a little more difficult in the bar in the evening. Do yourself a favour and learn at least a little French when visiting their current and former colonies.

It is centrally located in downtown Fort de France, within walking distance of shops and restaurants, the folly terminal and the bus to the airport

I love the location especially since it’s easy access to the ferry terminal, just 5 minutes walk to L ‘Imperatrice hotel. All amenities is in walking distance also the beach. I recommend improvement with the breakfast menu. Overall I’d a pleasant stay except for the language barrier if you only speak English.
